“Ho soggiornato presso Il Poggio dei Pettirossi per una sola notte. La struttura ha sicuramente del potenziale, ma al momento della mia visita diversi servizi non erano ancora disponibili a causa di lavori di ristrutturazione: solarium e piscina, ad esempio, non erano funzionanti, cosa che incide sull’esperienza complessiva, soprattutto se ci si aspetta di poter usufruire di questi spazi. La camera assegnata risultava piuttosto cupa, con un’illuminazione insufficiente che non la rendeva……

“Difficile da trovare nel Borgo. Al cellulare non rispondono. Il lavandino non scaricava bene. La doccia era piena di muffa. Il letto non era stato completato”

“Such a beautiful property, well maintained with spacious rooms and amazing views. The property is relatively small but is a great find. This is our second visit and we did feel the food was not as good as last time we were here. It is of good quality but we felt it was overpriced and had become too complex, we feel the removal of the buffet breakfast will lead to more waste and was not to our taste.”

“We had to make a last minute change to this property from one we had in San Gimignano, and we are delighted that it worked out that way. The property is super relaxing and the staff made our stay memorable. The owner/on-site chef made a fabulous 3 course meal for dinner, plus dessert, and breakfast was simply perfect If you do not have a car and anticipate hiring a taxi, I advise that you set up the taxi in advance and the owners will be happy to provide a number for you. We wish we could have……

“Outstanding location , with breathtaking views of Umbria from atop of the hill on which the small town of Bettona is located . During the 13th and 14th centuries the hotel was a hospital and an orphanage . Wasn’t thrilled with the restaurant , but that of course is a matter of taste. All in all , I enjoyed the 3 night stay , using it as a base to visit Perugia (30 minutes drive) and Assisi (also 30 minutes). Just plan the parking locations near the major sights , otherwise , it’s an arduous……

“The two days/nights that we spent at La Terrazza were the cherry on top of our week in Italy. We visited Assisi in June, expecting hot weather, and we chose this hotel in part because of the pool, and also because it was near but not inside historic Assisi and because of the included on-sight parking. What we loved most was the obvious care and craftsmanship given to the property. The landscaping was lovely, and in June, the plantings were in bloom with colorful flowers, and the pool and patio……

“A little far from the train station, but if you travel by driving a car, it should be a best choice. Clean room, nice breakfast and kindly staff”
