This review is Fraud! This person tried to extort us for a good review. Please read the other reviews and you will see that we maintain an excellent Vacation rental. The day she left she stated "thank you, we had a great time". If you ever have a problem with this home, we make sure it is corrected as quickly as possible. All signs at the home are there either for your safety or there because the city of Big Bear Lake require them on all Vacation Rentals. As for the camera’s located at the front door, these are there for your safety. We also use the front cameras to know when the home needs to be plowed or maintained. Most homes now use Ring doorbells to make check-in and other services easier. We never use the camera to spy (not sure what they were doing in the front that they were so concern about the camera). We do not advertise falsely and never would. We also never have you strip the beds/bath linens and clean them (she never read the final instructions).Please do not let this review sway you from Coming to Big Bear Lake and staying at our Home away from Home. Thank you for staying at our home away from home. The bathrooms were redone just a couple of years ago and we went with a spa look and feel. We have rugs there for your feet but I enjoy the feel but I guess not for everyone. The air hockey is not in the listing because we are caught in the supply chain issue and the table top is back ordered. So we took it out of the listing but left it as a bonus. The City of Big Bear Lake requires that short term renters take there trash with them (not our rule). Since the trast site is less than a mile you may want to drop trash before you load the car. That is what we do. Also you can prepay the cleaning company $15 per bag and they can take it. Sorry about the trash but the city requires it. I am so glad you had a good time and hope you can make it back soon.

Thank you for staying at our cabin. We are so sorry that you did not look in the cabinet where the microwave is located above the oven. I will definitely speak with the cleaning company about oven. that should have been cleaned for your stay. The carpet is being repaired next week it was damage by a past tenant and our contractor is ready. As for the kitchen we have never oversold it in any of the pictures but we are planning on redoing it as soon as the funds are available. Our budget has gone for completely redoing the Game room and all of the bathrooms. we also redid all of the bedrooms so next on our budget will be the kitchen. Please if anyone has any issues with cleaning please let me know while you are there so it can be corrected. we are always trying to make everyone's stay as nice as possible. Thank you so much for staying at our Cabin away from home. I am sorry you felt this way about our kitchen that you could not give it a 5 star rating. The home has always seem bright enough for us, we just open the blinds and let the big bear sun in. I have since been there to take care of any of your issue. The refrigerator works great, the problem you may have had is filling it empty with warm Items directly from your home. VRBO states it can take up to 12 hours to get back to temperature when adding warm items to an empty refrigerator. The toaster oven works great it is a high end brand and I had no trouble toasting. Yes, toasters do toast bread faster but we decided on a toaster oven so we could have more features like baking. I have not had any trouble with the handles but will tighten any that may have become loose. The pans we use for our oven are high end stainless steel use for induction ovens (which it is). I will have the cleaning company check them and clean if needed. We have been remodeling the home ever since buying it. We have done all of the Bathrooms, the Game Room, upstairs Bedrooms, outside deck and next on our list is the Kitchen. The kitchen has never been described in our listing incorrectly. We always take pride in our home and are always improving on it. Thank you for staying and we will always work to improve for future Tenants Visiting Big Bear Lake.
