「Very cute place loved the private beach . The brown tinged water and smell was a bit of a turn off even though they have a water softener and everything in place. Also, I found the floors a bit dirty/sticky. It’s not well marked the house itself, a local had to help us find our spot. It was my first time using this check-in and had no internet so it made things a bit challenging for me.」

「This place is very tranquil yet close to the Sydney area for convenience. We loved the views, listening to the waves crash, and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. It was fun to watch the lobster boats come and go. There is a seafood market nearby where we bought fresh lobsters a few times. We had classic Cape Breton weather. Wind, rain, sun, thunderstorms (thankful for the generac that kicked on during the two power outages). This home is suitable for two people or perhaps two couples. Our only...

「The dome itself was lovely and well situated on the water. The bed was uncomfortable, but the linens were clean. I was very disappointed in the facilities. I have no issues with using a pit toilet, however you must provide some running water for guests. The only way I was able to fill up water bottles was to ask the people at the lodge to go into the kitchen to fill my water bottles. I was also incredibly disgusted by the showers at Cabot Shores. We were first directed to use the showers in the...
