The unit was much larger than the pictures suggest, and was nice inside and out. The underground parking was handy, and the location near the resort and hiking trails worked great.
We had a wonderful stay with plenty of space for our family of 5. Property manager was very attentive / responsive as we had a few mechanical and other issues that were quickly remedied. Thank you.
The condo was exactly as described. Very comfortable for a family of five. Well stocked for cooking all meals at the condo and ski in/ski out for easy return for lunch everyday. Beautiful view of Lone Mountain was excellent for enjoying from the hot tub after a good day of skiing. Highly recommend this condo and this location.
This place was awesome with great room for six of us adults to spread out. The pantry was nearly fully stocked and lots of extra towels, washcloths and good linens for the bedding.
This unit is located above the pony express lift and reasonably easy to ski to. Returning, skiing in is a slight challenge as it was pretty steep. We found it easiest to Ski around Moonlight Lodge and literally down the parking lot to our place’s entrance. This works good as long as you have snow coverage. I highly recommend this place and would definitely love to stay here again. Cheers!
Saddle Ridge J1 was a fantastic rental right in the heart of the Moonlight Basin area. Ski-in/Ski-out was great (a little bit of a walk back in). Hot tub on upper deck was perfectly placed- great views all around and we felt location better than a lot of the surrounding condos with hot tub on lower decks. Condo is extremely spacious, very comfortable, and every detail thought out. Kitchen is fully stocked, every appliance imaginable. Laundry in condo super convenient and even supplied detergent. Clean and comfortable. Rental company was wonderful and even called two hours ahead of check-in to let us know the place was ready. All around fantastic, you will love this place. Can't wait to return.
We were very pleased with the quality and location of the property. The skiing access was fast with a quick drop to Pony Express. We found swinging off of pony to Six Shooter was the quickest start to the day. A slightly longer walk to Iron Horse was more efficient when trying to get to Swift Current or Challenger quickly. Heading back, be sure to stay on Powder River and keeps some momentum to avoid a short hike uphill at the Moonlight lodge.
The views of the mountain were great from the decks and hot tub and the bedrooms were perfect for a family of six (parents + 4 kids). We'll be back! Skiing at Big Sky never disappoints.
We loved this property. We have stayed in other villas in the same area and this was our favorite. It was well stocked and when we ran out of trash bags the property managers were at our door with more. The views from this place was amazing and especially from the hot tub. Lots of sleeping space. A little difficult to “ski into”, easier to ski out. Our only issues were the fireplace didn’t work the first two nights and the washing machine didn’t work or quit. Some of our sheets had hair all over them. I believe they were clean but just are older sheets with static. We did change them ourselves though. All and all a great experience.
We stayed at Saddle Ridge J1 over presidents day weekend, and it was the ideal location for an incredible and memorable ski vacation. The condo was incredibly spacious and comfortable, and allowed for all parties (ie, my husband and my parents) to have plenty of privacy. The bunk beds in the upstairs bedroom were really fun for the kids! We cooked most meals in and the kitchen was superbly well-stocked for anything we wanted to do. Our favorite part of this rental was the mountain view - from sunsets over the mountains to evening views of the stars over Lone Peak, we were in awe every time we looked out the window. The location of the hot tub on the 2nd floor was ideal for enjoying these views as well! Ski-in worked well when there was snow on the drive, as we could pole down the drive right to the door, but ski-out worked best with a short walk or drive up to Moonlight Lodge to access the Iron Horse Lift.
Communication with the property management group was super easy and efficient. We are already hoping to stay here again next ski season, and would also like to check it out in the summer!
We really enjoyed staying in this condo- The views of the mountains and slopes were spectacular. The hot tub on the balcony with those views made the end of the ski day even more wonderful. The condo was very well stocked for all our needs and has generous sized bedrooms and bathrooms. It was a short trek to ski in/out but worth it for this condo. Such a big ski area here, something for everyone! We would definitely stay here again. I recommend stocking up on groceries in Bozeman. The Roxy grocery store in Big sky is very nice well stocked but pricey. Also, there are only 2 places to eat lunch up on the slopes despite the vast amount of ski area and one was closed for covid. The other restaurant we never even got to or saw because it is on the back side of the mountain from us. So you have to go to the main village area at the base to eat which has quite a few places but will be busy and this creates long lines to get back on the slopes after lunch. So we recommend eating lunch at the condo to avoid the lines. Loved our whole trip! We highly recommend this condo and Big Sky!
This is a well designed condo and has absolutely EVERYTHING you'll need for your stay. The views are great and the hot tub is amazing. My only very minor complaint, for skiers, is the ski-in, ski out aspect. The ski-out portion is very steep (not for new skiers) and ski-in portion get you close, but there still is an uphill hike to the condo. Not a huge issue, but worth noting.
We had a great time during our stay. It is very easy ski in/ski out (little walk if you’re a snowboarder). The views were beautiful and the condo was very comfortable. Hot tub on the upper deck was the perfect thing after a day on the slopes. Would recommend having a 4 wheel drive vehicle during your stay. Would definitely book again.
Excellent location to Iron horse chair. Condo was complete with everything needed for kitchen and bathrooms. It was clean and spacious. Hot tub was enjoyed everyday! Great company to rent from
Our group of eight had a fantastic time at Saddle Ridge Unit J1. The condo is spacious, clean, well-stocked, and modern. The hot tub is on the upper deck and offers stellar views of the Challenger lift and surrounding mountains. We had several powder days during our stay and getting out of the condo to the lift was easy. Watching ski patrol do avalanche mitigation while we were getting ready was also a nice treat. The only downside is that there is not easy access to the Mountain Village or nightlife without a car and the "ski-in" to the condo can a little bit of a walk depending on which direction you are coming from. Ultimately, these were non-issues. Natural Retreats is very easy to work with and does a great job of keeping in contact. I would highly recommend booking with them based on our experience. We will definitely be coming back.
Easy ski in/out (sort of in) large, clean, fully equipped, hot tub with a view condo. Loved this condo. Six adults had plenty of room. Kitchen is nicely designed with additional "bar" sink. Second counter top convection oven comes in handy. Every appliance conceivable. Large pantry area for food storage. Each bedroom has its own bath with additional half bath by the entrance. Place was very clean with plenty of towels/garbage bags/dish soap..... Maintenance was quick to respond to a broken key lock box. Mountain was awesome and we had wonderful weather for skiing.

The house had a great view, great deck with hot tub, all the necessary extras (spices, untencils, cleaning products, etc). Very clean. Nice TVs. Comfy furniture. Ski-out was simple, ski-in just a short walk down the street.

Cozy, convenient, and everything you could ask for
I visited this home in January 2019. It was wonderful. Great features like a private hot tub on balcony, spacious, and a nice electric fireplace. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of utensils, pots, and dishes. The rooms were spacious and clean. The unit is literally a 2 minute walk from the ski lifts and it was very convenient coming in and out for lunch because of the condo's proximity to the mountain.

Our families had a fabulous stay in this townhome for our Spring Break holiday. The unit is exactly as described and even better. We loved the kitchen, hot tub, location on the mountain, and layout of the unit. The rooms were spacious and having it's own bathroom was a huge plus. Thank you to the owner for all the extras included in the pantry, kitchen utensils, tools and sleds. The views from the balcony were amazing. We had plenty of snow during our trip and was pretty easy ski-out; however it was a walk back to the unit that was a little tiring after a long day on the slopes. Big Sky is so vast that we only ventured into about 1/2 the ski area and it was never crowded except for the base area.
