“This cozy cabin is exactly as shown, yet more. Our stay was relaxing and peaceful. Kelley is so thoughtful. We were in town for a funeral and she had a very sweet card waiting for us when we arrived. This was a haven away from all of the hustle and bustle that surrounds a funeral. You can see the attention to detail in the available essentials, amenities, and the decor. They have provided everything you need for a stay away from home. Superb hospitality! You want to stay here…it’s so wonderful! ”

“The host was very nice, everything was nice and clean, and stocked with the things we needed to have an awesome experience away from home. We are looking forward to staying here again!”

“Well maintained, elegantly furnished house. Tons of outdoor living space. Our family really enjoyed the hot tub/jacuzzi as well as swimming and kayaking in the lake. The kids were extremely excited about the hammock and loft beds. The owners put a lot of time and effort into making the entire house an experience. The outdoor living spaces, especially were thoughtfully put together and provided. Definitely would stay here again.”

“Had to come back into town for a family event, the place is not fancy, but it is simply nice. The place held us just fine and allowed us to accomplish our visits and to be visited. The owner(s) have put a lot of heart into the home. From the basket of amenities that people usually forget, to the kitchen that had everything to make meals for a group of five. Nice molding in the home. The doors have excellent locks that build confidence that no one is coming in while you're there at night, but……

“My wife and 2 two pups enjoyed our stay at the Lake House. The house was extremely clean with a great view of Hyatt Lake.Great option whether you plan to relax and wet some lines or use the house as a jumping off point for Big Thicket exploration.”
