Phone in room didnt work. Tv wake up alarm didnt work. Room service charged my card then didnt deliver...problem with the system...miles from the airport so misdescribed, awful experience, but staff were good.

Staff were very helpful . Room was clean and spacious. Food was very good. My only complaint would be the limited car parking with no spaces reserved for residents despite the additional car parking charge.

Overall the service and overall upkeep of hotel was good. The main thing that awarded a lower rating was the quality of the bed/pillows, and cleanliness of the room. The pillows and mattress were lumpy and overall a little uncomfortable to sleep in. The room itself had pubic hair and what appeared to be blood stains in both the bathroom and bed sheets. The nature of our trip was a quick two night trip, so the hotel sufficed. However, I wouldn’t stay there for a longer period of time.

Nearly perfect
Everything was superb. Fantastic suite with all the facilities you could possibly require for an overnight business trip including great WiFi and excellent shower. My only gripe is that I paid for my overnight parking upon arrival but they would not supply me with the invoice/receipt until checkout. This meant I had to queue twice unnecessarily. Other than that a great place to stay.

Fine family stay but please review the sofa beds.
The reception were helpful when we arrived but the pull out bed for the kids was very flimsy. The housekeeping came in at 9am after a very late concert at the nec which felt early even with our error of not putting a do not disturbed sign on our door.

Paying for parking is a real annoyance. I get it, people who are not resident should pay, but fleecing another £24 out of me on top of the high priced rooms is annoying. Food is frankly crap. Very few menu choices on horrible little terminals, missing fundamental condiments like English mustard. Rooms were either freezing or too hot. The heating in the room does nothing till you set it to 25+ degrees, then starts to warm up a bit before heating it to thermonuclear before you know it. Breakfast is OK but slow. All in all a very poor showing by what is supposed to be a premier brand. The Holiday Inn express down the road is better, cleaner and more personal

Couldn't praise the staff highly enough. Really attentive, friendly & helpful. Thanks to Maddi who served me at breakfast. What a huge difference to my stay 2 days earlier in Winchester, which was a horrible experience.

Tick all the box's for me, had not one complaint, bus stop out side at hotel, every 20 mins for city centre, and swimming pool was perfect for me and my grandson, he want's to go back there again

Pleasant stay
We loved the hotel very comfy beds ,we got there earlier than check in time but they let us have our rooms , first day pool was a bit cold but we let management know and they sorted it by next day it was amazing for the kids to swim . There is a £12 parking fee to be aware of as its not states here on hotels .com

Very cost-effective stay for families. The swimming pool condition was also great. Just one thing want to note is the room was not clean. For instance, there was a used coffee capsule inside of the Nespresso machine.

I had to relocate my family to another hotel.
Terrible stay and experience. We were charged for parking where your website clearly stated nothing regarding this. I selected parking and pool as the parameters and this hotel came up. I have stayed here in the past and did not get charged for parking. However this time they demanded £12 per night. I was shocked. The person at the desk told me this had always been the case so why wasn’t this stated on your site and why wasn’t I charged previously?? Then, my son felt sick in the room, we contacted room service and initallly she was really supportive and stated she will collect cleaning supplies and come back. 30 minutes later I get a call from the front desk and she stated that a cleaning service will cost £150 which has to be paid in cash!!! I was shocked. Never have I heard such nonsense before. Our room was stinking after this as we only had tissue to clean with. No cleaning supplies were given to help us. The smell was soo bad after the heating had been on, as it’s winter and our room was freezing, that it was literally not pleasant to be in so I booked a hotel elsewhere for our 2nd night and left without staying for my 2nd night. I am absolutely disgraced by hotel.com and this hotel. Unless a satisfactory refund is given, I will never be using your services again or be staying with IHG

It was clean and comfortable but room service was poor. Anf when we left to go to the airport the morning staff member didnt say goodbye. I then called to ask about the shuttle bus to airport and was told it wasnt running and left on hold. But it was running we were just lucky to spot it!

Staff were super- really helpful and welcoming. Room was great, but was given an accessible room (not requested) and spent 15 minutes trying to clear up after my shower as the ‘wet room’ was literally that - the whole room was deep in water and didn’t seem to drain quickly.

Tutto positivo, unica pecca è stata la rottura della tenda, non sistemata durante il mio soggiorno. Quindi ho passato due notti sue tre dormendo senza la possibilità di bloccare la luce dei lampioni, la quale penetrava dalla finestra. Unica pecca, purtroppo.
