Food was very good, reception very helpful, room very quirky. I had to book a family room as last one left - was the only room on the top floor built into the eaves. Two double bedrooms, very spacious and nice and quiet. Be aware that the rooms are in an apartment style building (bit like Butlins) across the car park. There is no lift - I was on the 2nd floor and struggled a bit with my suitcase as I have a bad hip (age!). I would also recommend to the hotel that they put some grab bars in the shower - one for as you go up the step into the shower and one in the shower as I found it slippery - again an age problem!

Overnight stay

Found the hotel to be very satisfactory for an overnight stay when visiting relatives in the area. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom. As we arrived in darkness we found it difficult to locate the hotel so more signing on the approach roads would be beneficial.

Acceptable for low budget stay

Property is in need of painting and maintenance. Carpet in the room and wall paint need update. Generally the hotel is acceptable for a low budget stay. One positive aspect is its located around main roads and supermarkets

Parking was secure. Room was ok BUT carpet was covered in stains. Matressnor the comfiest.Couls here people talking jn rooms that were not directly joined alao other televisions. People outside waling along outer corridor ro smoke and chat. Breakfast waa not good quality. Coffee machine was either broke or needed re filling was rold to use coffee sachets. It’s like an American Motel. Reception staff were polite but the hotel itself was tired. The carpet in the room was dirty. The whole place could do with being updated. Not worth the price paid.

Great staff, cold room

Was extremely cold, and the light above my room door (outside) was not working. The parking bays certainly need the borders repainting. The staff, however were excellent and extremely helpful.

Disappointing and damp

The room was damp and everytime we had a shower the room got damper. The bed was uncomfortable and when we raised our issues the staff didn't care.
