Japandi Loft Projector + Freestanding Bath Jewellery Quarter
Summary:
Escape to this Japandi-inspired loft in the heart of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. Exposed brick walls, vaulted beamed ceilings, and a freestanding bathtub create a space that’s as relaxing as it is striking — a true one-of-a-kind stay in the city.
Unwind with a film on the projector, soak in the freestanding bath, or step outside onto your garden view terrace. The fully equipped kitchen and free on-site parking make this the perfect base whether you’re in Birmingham for a weekend break or a longer stay.
The Metro is a 3-minute walk, putting the city centre just one stop away. One of three uniquely designed boutique apartments in the same building — ideal for groups or return visits. Ask us about availability across all three.
The Space:
The loft features a fully equipped kitchen, smart TV, projector with screen, high-speed WiFi, freestanding bath and walk-in shower. Free on-site parking is included in your stay. Access is automated through a front entry code and lockbox — completely flexible, no key handover needed.
Guest Access:
The apartment is located on the second floor, accessed via stairs (no lift). Street parking is available directly outside on a pay and display basis. There is also a car park just around the corner next to Jewellery Quarter station.
The Neighborhood:
You're staying in the Jewellery Quarter, one of Birmingham's most characterful and exciting neighbourhoods, with a history stretching back over 200 years. Victorian workshops sit alongside independent cafés, buzzing bars, and some of the city's most beloved hidden gems.
The area's food and drink scene has never been better. Saint Paul's Market — the brand new food hall on Mary Ann Street — has just opened right on your doorstep, featuring 7 independent kitchens, 2 bars, and 500 seats across 2 floors. Visit Birmingham Expect fried chicken and waffles, Persian grilled meats, Thai BBQ small plates, epic bao buns, craft cocktails and locally brewed beers — all from Birmingham's best independent names, all under one roof. Beyond the food hall, the wider JQ has everything from relaxed neighbourhood bars and bottomless brunch spots to Caribbean restaurants and Indian street food.
For everyday essentials, Tesco Express is right in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter on Frederick Street EE, just a short walk away and open late every day — perfect for picking up breakfast bits or last-minute supplies.
The area is also home to St Paul's Square, one of Birmingham's most beautiful and peaceful Georgian squares, with the stunning St Paul's Church at its centre — a lovely spot for a morning stroll.
For culture, the Quarter punches well above its weight, with several fascinating museums dedicated to its rich industrial craft heritage. Birmingham city centre is just 10 minutes away on foot or one stop on the Metro, putting you within easy reach of world-class museums (many free), the waterside Brindleyplace area, and the full range of shops, restaurants and nightlife the city has to offer.
Getting Around:
Jewellery Quarter Metro station is just a 3 minute walk from the property. The Metro runs frequently and Birmingham city centre is one stop away, around 8 minutes, dropping you right by Birmingham New Street. If you prefer to walk, the city centre is about 15 minutes on foot.
If you're arriving by train into New Street, the Metro departs from just outside the station (signposted Grand Central) and you'll be at the property in one stop. If you're travelling on a Chiltern Railways service from London Marylebone, you can also arrive directly into Birmingham Moor Street, which has regular trains to Jewellery Quarter station.
If you're driving, there is paid on-street parking directly outside the property, and a short walk around the corner you'll find a paid car park next to Jewellery Quarter train station. Note that Birmingham operates a Clean Air Zone, so it's worth checking whether your vehicle is affected before your visit.
