Some nice touches with toiletries and tea and coffee. Room was very warm, turned down the radiator but the windows did not open. Lots of ladybirds in the room in February? TV reception cut out when moving around the room. Sounded like the roof was leaking as a dripping noise from the loft kept us awake during heavy rain. Bed very soft and uncomfortable for two. Breakfast was good. The Griffin pub nearby was great.

Homely & Great Local Host
Pat was a wonderful host. Very comfy room and dining/living room. Breakfast drinks and cooked breakfast available from 07:00 which was very convenient and a good quality. I got a single room, including breakfast, for £46.00 which was worth every penny, if not underselling itself.

A very warm welcome from the host Pat who was eager to her best to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Wonderful cooked breakfast. We would certainly stay again. Excellent value for money.

This Guest House is a rarely found treasure!
The proprietor is so helpful and caring. I received a lovely welcome and first class service throughout my stay. The breakfast provided was amazing- well cooked and presented hot and tasty. Toast cereal and orange juice are provided as well as cooked breakfast. Room was lovely, well appointed with lots of helpful storage space.Bed was comfy. Although some trains run past they didn’t disturb me and I didn’t really notice them at all or hear them. There is a lovely lounge and garden that guests may use and a pool table as well. I would stay here again and would highly recommend this gem of a guest house.

A Lovely place to stay
A very quiet peaceful place to stay. Pat was very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. If staying in the area again we would certainly return to this guest house.

Beware of the Trains.
The guest house was ok but our room overlooked the train track from Coventry to Birmingham so very very noisy. Didn’t get much sleep. The breakfast was very cheap products. Host was nice and got our room ready early.

Home from home..
A welcome that cheered one up. Comfort all round. All essentials there and more. A lovely breakfast in the old station waiting room. Loved every minute of our stay there. Well recommended and with easy reach of Birmingham airport.

Super friendly owner host, and quiet and green
Super friendly host, great breakfast, out in the countryside (so your own transport is a must). Room was well equipped, and well comfortable enough for our stopover - no desk and chair if you expect to work in your room, but roomy lounge downstairs if yr doing e-mails (and headphones for calls)

Home from home
Pat makes you feel very welcome and ensures your stay is great. Good advice on where to eat in the evenings. nothing is too much trouble. Felt very much at home.

Outstanding value & everything you need for a stay away. My stay was for work, exhibiting at the NEC and at only a 18 min drive from the NEC this place is a golden find! Should be full every night, why use the posher nearer places?
