The stay and location was excellent! Only minor improve is allow the windows in the apartment to be opened when adults only are staying.We appreciate the need to ensure child safety measures and this request may not be legally possible :) Thank you.

All fine with the property, did note that the TV remote was damaged but still worked, we also couldn’t work out how to use the cook top so perhaps some instructions (wasn’t an issue for us as we planned to eat out). There was an iron but we could not locate the ironing board - again not an issue for us.

We found the accommodation to be just as you see it online. A lovely bright and well-appointed apartment. My husband and I had my parents with us, who are in their mid 70s. I failed to realise or ask about access to the apartment before booking and arriving. The apartment is on the 2nd floor with 4 flights of stairs to navigate. Mum has some mobility issues, and the stairs were a challenge. Also, the lounge is quite low, which makes getting in and out of difficult. Please take this into account when considering this location. The position was ideal for the special occasion we attended at the surf club. All in all, though, lovely accommodation.

Great walking on the beach, walking distance to the Bowling Club or Tavern for meals. The staff at Mid Coast Holiday Accommodation Centre are very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back.

The reason why we keep returning is that the location is perfect, the unit very comfortable, clean and sunny and Blackhead Beach is right on your doorstep. Key was in a key locker, so we had absolutely no contact with the agent (but no real need to!). It is well fitted out and was clean when we arrived. We've stayed here before and knew there was no coffee-maker or cafetier so we brought our own. The airconditioner (loungeroom) and ceiling fans (in every room) were life-savers in the hot humid weather we had.

It was most comfortable and a great spot to enjoy the beach. There is an ocean pool and plenty of great walking available. Definitely recommend both the residence and the area. Only complaint was no hair dryer.

Virtually no parking though. We had to park down near the beach. Could not use the garage, too hard to get in and out of. Stairs are not good for older visitors. Clean, renovated, comfortably and tastefully furnished with a great little balcony for having brekkie or a glass or 3 of wine while looking over the beach. Sigh....I will miss it but will be back as soon as I can get back there. There's also a great little local takeaway just up the road where you can grab a half way decent coffee and sit right on the beach. Quiet location, walking distance to beach, rainforest walks, local bowlo, shops and parks.

Good catch communications with property manager. Easy check-in process. Check-out very strict 9.00am. Could perhaps be a bit later. No Wi-Fi is not really an issue but would be helpful to some. Overall, a nice clean little unit in a pleasant location.
