Check in was smooth and easy, clean, well lit corridors. Room was spacious if a tad dated. Spotlessly clean. Ample Car Parking. Lovely bar area. Restaurant good. Typical Pub Grub that was served piping hot and with a smile from the staff. Would we stay again while visiting family? Absolutely we would!!

Can’t praise the staff here enough . Very friendly and considerate. Arrived early so had some lunch before check in and food menu caters for all. Breakfast was equally delicious. I would definitely return here with future trips to the area. Well done everyone 🤗

Great value

Only downside- Blackburn Rovers were at home (stadium across the road), torrential rain and the car park was fenced off so had to run about trying to find someone (sitting inside in the dry) to let us in. Rooms are large, very clean and the reception staff were great. Have stayed here 3 times now and would stay again

Excellent choice for the football. Clean rooms with good shower, pub and food next door and takeaways just down the road. Car park too. Greene King is not my favourite beer, but if it has to be GK they could at least keep the cask ale going. Why is it always OK for GK not to offer cask ale??

The fire alarm kept going off in the evening which totally spoilt our nights stay as we were very tired after driving from Surrey. I think a refund is appropriate.
