Good enough for the price and location, easy check-in and the guy was very friendly and helpful. There’s no manned reception (they also have a bar opposite where someone is available if you need anything) so you get keys for the outer door as well as your room - I’ve found this was great and worked really well, I’ll stay again in the future.

Very basic double room. Phone number to call upon arrival. Met helpful guy, gave keys and directed to room. Chambermaid was cheerful. Just a double bed and en suite, all I needed for my stay. It was clean and supplied. Only thing I would say is my room would had been good to have a bedside light, and tbh the room just needs a refresh with a lick of paint, maybe a new carpet. But it suited my needs.

Having stayed here on two previous occasions, I am sorry to say this will be my final visit. I accept this is a budget hotel, yet I might reasonably expect a room with a functioning shower. Unfortunately, that was not the case; when I reported the issue, I was told little could be done because of water pressure and full occupancy, which prevented a room change. The door also felt insecure when closed, with clear signs visible on inspecting the lock. To complete the experience, the double-glazed window failed to block noise from the street or the seagulls that woke us at 5:00 am. The owners should invest in this property to improve room quality.

Couldn't fault it

Excellent bed and breakfast with fantastic hosts and a perfect location for the Blackpool pride festival, stumbling distance from all of the action but far enough away for a restful nights sleep. Will definitely stay again.

Room was spotless, guy that showed us in was polite amd friendly. Only downsides were the shower was very weak(fed from the mixer tap) and the blinds didnt keep much light out. Everything else was excellent value for money, great location for what we were doing.
