I'm not sure who enjoyed our time at the cabin more - us or our dogs! All of us were outside more than we were inside and spent hours enjoying the river. The falls were magnificent and the sound of the river put us all to sleep quickly at night. Or maybe it was all the hiking and playing we did during the day. Truly a special place.

The atmosphere was very peaceful. It rained for our entire two days, but that happens. The bed was like sleeping on a brick, it wouldn’t be a bad thing if the owners invested in a new mattress. The area looks pretty historic and if the weather was better, I would have liked to explore it a bit more. Loved the goats on the way in.

The cabin was very clean and comfy. Super rustic but never felt unsafe. Beautiful view overlooking the river. If you like to fish, I suggest you do so. I caught numerous smallmouth bass on Mepps spinners at the fishing access area on the Lehigh River, not far from the cabin. Even caught a few rainbow trout on the spinners in mid-June. Excellent fishing access.

A lovely experience overall. Initially, my communication with Expedia/Vrbo was frustrating. But the host, Lacy, was so very accommodating with providing me with information. I brought my 2 small dogs with me and even they had a wonderful time. Weather was ideal. Just a wonderful cabin, and the serenity I felt was amazing. I'll be returning.

Fantastic location, with the river right outside the door! Very relaxing and cozy, a good place to unplug! I did have to learn how to properly use a fireplace without smoking the place out! Very close to hiking and skiing if that's your thing.
