“THIS was exactly what my husband & I needed! The peace & quiet was cathartic to both of us. We LOVED the cabin & it was indeed a Fortress of Solitude in the most beautiful way! We were truly able to disconnect from our hectic jobs & responsibilities & simply BE. And yet, we ate dinner Wed night with nearby family members at the Homestead Steakhouse, and it was wonderful-both the company & the food. We will definitely return; hopefully for longer stays. The property itself was clean & well……

“We had a great stay in this cottage. It was perfect for 2 people. They had supplies you always forget to pack including shampoo/conditioner! The best part was having good coffee from a keurig!! It was hands down much better than a hotel and waking up in the wooded area and seeing deers in the morning was so great! Communication was quick with owners as well! Thank you!! If we are ever in that area again, I would absolutely stay again. 🙂”

“Excellent stay! Dad enjoyed VIR 25 minutes away for a track weekend, my boys love fishing and hanging out by the dock for hours, mom loved watching the woodpeckers and the beautiful scenery. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The home was very clean and we felt like we never left home because of all the amenities. We plan on returning! ”
