「Beautiful little cabin in a lovely secluded location. Clean, comfortable, extremely quiet. The only issue we found is - the hot water heater is horribly undersized. Any more than one 10-min shower and you’ll be taking a COLD shower! Lovely retreat for a couple, but a shower together? Out of the question! My wife and I took AM/PM shifts on the 2nd day after it took my breath away on day 1.」

「Although the cabin was not cleaned before we arrived, the Vacasa cleaning crew came right over after we called. They said it was a scheduling problem that caused them to not have the cabin cleaned before we got there. I would have expected a proactive call to let us know about the problem and for them to have corrected the schedule before we got there and called them about it. Vacasa is also refunding us our cleaning fee.」

「Everything was great except the beds and linens. Pillows should be replaced-stained. Mattresses were hard as a rock, very uncomfortable and bed frame squeaked.Linens should be updated, very old. 「We had a lovely stay at Prong Pond. The property is quiet, and although there are two cabins next to each other, they still feel private. About 6 miles outside of "downtown" Greenville, just the right distance away. The pond was quiet when we were there, perfect for paddling. Amazing scenery and wildlife, although we didn't see a moose, which was one of our goals. Great vacation!」

「This is our second year staying at the cabin during the Thanksgiving holiday. It was just as great a stay as last year. We enjoy how open but cozy it is, the charm of the knotty pine and being close to our family. There is everything you need including for cooking.
