"Happy Cocoon" - Immersion in the historic center

Beautiful apartment cozy atmosphere of 80 m2, renovated in 2019, in the heart of the historic center. At the foot of the Cathedral, the Hotel de Ville and the Roseraie de Blois, this attic apartment is comfortable, modern design (wifi, Bluetooth speaker, TV 55cm ...). It accommodates 6 people (2 bedrooms, 1 sofa bed with a real quality mattress & 1 cot for baby).

The apartment has a new kitchen ultra-equipped, with a central island that allows you to cook and be autonomous for your meals / dinners during your stay.

Ideal for tourist stays with family / friends, but also for short-term business trips (trade show, conferences, seminars, missions ...)

Prrfect locatiion near the heart of Blois

This apartment was surprisingly comfortable and roomy - roomier than the photos suggest - and was within easy walking distance of the heart of old Blois. It was great to have a reserved parking spot. Though, it was tight! The only downside for us was that the keybox was about a mile away from the apartment location. We were two couples traveling together, and we sometimes wanted to go our separate ways during the day. A co-located keybox makes it way easier when people want to come and go at different times.

Great location, amenities lacking

Location was great, walkable to all Blois attractions and city center, 3rd floor walk up. The apartment didn't seem clean, stained fabric and rug, mildewy shower, dirty sponges. The amenities were lacking - no clean sponges, paper towels, napkins, 1 dishwasher tab, empty hand soap containers. The apartment had a strange cooking smell, and air freshener bottles were empty, I bought a candle which I did not light, but it helped. The home was set for 4 people to occupy with 1 bath towel and 1 pillow per person, no hand towels in bathroom. The convection oven did not work, when I emailed the manager he said to look for the english instructions on use in the apartment. It did not address the problem I had so I could not use the cook top while there. The managers were responsive but I don't feel like I should need to go looking for instructions on how to use the apartment appliances. Other vrbos generally have a binder with all the information there for you. The bedroom heater worked 2/4 nights. Dishwasher and Laundry worked fine. Parking - if you have a tiny car - then you can probably maneuver in and out of the parking area if the other spots are filled. I had a Fiat 600, which is a small car , and could not do so as it was a rental and I was pretty afraid of dinging it. So I paid for street parking one night. The parking area also has a lot of dog poop in it so watch your step.

Gute Lage, sehr gute Ausstattung für Kleinkind, leider lief die Dusche nicht gut ab, so dass man das Wasser immer nur kurze Zeit laufen lassen konnte. Auch der Vorrat an Seife und Klopapier war eher knapp.

Logement vraiment très agréable alliant cachet et modernité. idéalement situé à Blois, c'est un point de chute parfait pour visiter les Chateaux de Blois, Chambord et Cheverny. Petit plus, les enfants ont adoré le jeu d'arcade dans la chambre, et le canapé convertible est vraiment confortable et se déplie en 5 secondes !

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet appartement avec une belle vue sur la ville. Très bien entretenu et parfaitement aménagé avec tout le nécessaire et même plus. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !
