The Notranjski Park with its population of bears, lynx and wolves is a 20-minute drive and wild Lake Cerknica a 25-minute drive.
Visitors can also explore the Škocjan Caves (a 50-minute drive), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Postojna Cave (a 40-minute drive), famous for its stalactites and stalagmites or the Krizna Jama cave complex (a 10-minute drive) where visitors can experience the magic of exploring the underground lakes and waterways in kayaks.
