Reserved a king room and got a queen size bed on a king size frame. I could seen through the frame and it was filthy underneath. There were three different kind of bugs I encountered. Blankets had stains on them, microwave was dirty, they don’t clean under or behind fridge (one place I found a bug)

•2nd floor room & no elevator (no elevator in 2025) •carpeted stairs so soiled one of my shoes literally stuck to a stair & my foot pulled out •we had a king bed room - the room was absolutely huge (good) but was not clean, modern or maintained (bad)… •hair on the bottom sheet of the made bed •yellow, brown & reddish stains on ALL of the linens (sheets, pillowcases, washcloths, hand towels, bath towels) •mold under the shower mat on the tub floor •hair clippings between the bathroom mirror & the faucet •right arm of the couch was extremely thin, worn & torn •at least one of the outlets on the large power strip by the TV did not work (no biggie to me but it may be a red flag for a potential short, failure &/or fire •the door between this room & the next was locked but just didn’t look or feel like it was closed tightly •hair found on most of the towels (I’m not sure if this is a cleanliness & sanitation issue or possibly the housekeeping dryer vent/lint trap just needs cleaned or what, but someone else’s visible hair being on my & my family’s hotel bedding & towels is disgusting) •the front desk/lobby & the 1st flight of stairs areas had an extremely bad odor TBH, despite this list being lengthy, there’s nothing here that couldn’t easily be corrected with basic cleaning standards & regular R&M/repairs & maintenance (for both existing issues & to stay on top of preventative maintenance). I know staffing issues exist everywhere but guests deserve clean facilities & linens.

This property was the dirtiest we have ever stayed, and we have stayed in hundreds of hotels. We were even stopped by others in the hallway, asking if our room was disgusting. The sheets were clean, but that was it. I’ve never seen a bath tub that dirty before. There was blood and old food on the walls. There was a clipped toenail on the floor, along with an incredible amount of crumbs and dirt. The remote was caked with something sticky, but it didn’t matter because it didn’t work. The mirror was cracked. I wish I could submit a picture so you could see the tub! The man running the front desk was friendly. The last odd thing, the hotel randomly cancelled our reservation a couple of days before, but Expedia still showed our reservation was active. Thankfully when we got there, they had a room available because everything in town was sold out due to ISU Family weekend. I would definitely not recommend staying here.
