“Perfectly located adjacent to shops, restaurants, local historical attractions, a beautiful view and riverside park with a paved walking path. Easy drive to state parks, other river towns. The kitchen & living area were very welcoming - the sofa, very comfortable. The matresses and pillows were mediocre, although clean and sufficient. “Loved our stay at the farmhouse! We had more than enough dishes and cookware for our stay. The beds were so comfortable. We were all fast asleep as soon as we hit the pillows. It was nice to be back in a farmhouse and you can see they took care to show the history and labor of love the home was. There were little things here and there that reminded me of my grandparents farmhouse and it was nice to reminisce.”

“The cottage was exactly as pictured and described. It was very comfortable and cozy. The owner was very responsive to an issue we had (which turned out to be a non-issue). The cottage was well supplied. The neighbors were very friendly and there was easy access to the river. The store at the end of the street sold basic items, which was convenient. The bar behind the store was awesome for a cold beer and meeting neighbors. It was a great neighborhood to walk my dogs.”

“This property was a last minute pick for us and it did not disappoint. It was very unique in it's decor but very comfortable and clean. Check in was easy! There are many places to eat in the surrounding area and a great location in regards to area attractions! ”

“We had an excellent weekend at the Luxury Lodges. The house was stocked with everything we needed, from linens and towels to cookware and paper products. It was very clean as well. The property is secluded for privacy and offers a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. The basement is an open area with games to play as well . We will definitely stay again, hopefully in the near future.”
