Overall, Desert Rose Resort is rather nice...and unexpected in Bluff, UT. A little disappointed in the maintenance, given the relatively new resort itself; toilet seat was not attached. Although the main road is next door, on a Sunday evening and night, minimal noise. The overall atmosphere is rather nice, especially sitting on the balconies in the evening, and they continue construction on additional cabins and such. Restaurant was closed, so no advice to give. Worth a visit, especially, if just passing through!

The room we stayed in was sufficient. The furniture was worn. It appeared that otherwise the room had been updated. There is some new construction onsite I believe to increase the number of accommodations. Please note there is NOT an elevator and you must carry your luggage yourself upstairs. The included breakfast was a convenient necessity as there aren’t really any other options. The attached restaurant for dinner has limited options but were tasty. Again not many options are available locally.
