5/5 - Excellent
Our bed and breakfast was several miles out of Bodmin. The area is a good base for Padstow, Port Isaac, Tintagel and Boscastle. Bodmin is also the home of the Bodmin and Wenford Heritage Railway, which is a great attraction to visit.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in. Quirky but outstanding, the best nights sleep I've had in ages!

Room was immaculate, albeit a little small and the radiator took forever to heat the room, check in was easy and parking available

visited the jail, very entertaining. I would imagine on busy days it could become easily overcrowded on the staircases. Lot's of construction work towards the new hotel; this maybe a catalyst to revamp this visit.
Small town, plenty of parking lack of "good coffee" shops
Beautiful place
Not sure there is a whole lot in Bodmin town itself, but it's well placed on the main road through the centre of Cornwall.
We only passed through Bodmin without stopping so have no opinion regarding this place.
