「The actual hotel was lovely particularly if you are looking for a certain vibe. It was a well renovated country house that was a delight to stay at.
The main issue is that the location is not near anything and feels a bit remote. The grounds could use a little attention as well, but this is of lesser importance.
The family who operate the hotel are invested and are a delight」

「Hotel is in a good location, ample parking. It's a stately building fairly well maintained, though the elevator access on floor 1 is hindered by the carpeting that restricts the door from opening. Yes you have to manually open the door to access the 50 + year old elevator and make sure it doesnt swallow any body part when the door closes, very cool. The food in the attached restaurant/ pub was good, though the service was hindered by only 1 person doing everything, hotel check in and restaurant...
