「My 11 yr old granddaughter saw this listing and begged to stay “at the castle house”. The “castle” is a unique, one of a kind 3 story house, at the end of a trail through the woods. Please be aware that the dirt road and narrow trail to the house might not be suited for small cars. (We have a full sized truck.) 「We were in town for a funeral and stayed at this tiny home as an experiment. It was a good experience with the host and the home. I highly recommend if you find yourself near Franklinton. There were farm fresh eggs in the kitchen and everything you could want for an evening stay. It can be hit or miss on short term house rentals, this was a home run.」

I ended up opening the door of a family staying in their cabin bc the host failed to give me proper check in instructions. 「Location was about 30 min from most places BUT it is so amazing! The quiet and distance allowed us to see so much wildlife that would never have been seen otherwise. We had an owl visit almost every evening. The property had plenty of space for kids to run and play. The host were so welcoming and gracious!
