Visit the lakes of Bled and Bohinj

We had chosen to stay in this hotel for the proximity of the Bohinj and Bled lakes. It was perfect for us, we did a lot of hiking. You can easily start a trip directly from the hotel. We liked the breakfast and the dinner in the hotel. Dinner is in buffet, not an abundance of choice, but everything was tasty, and the staff made sure everything was constantly refilled. The people at the reception have been very helpful and friendly. We also liked the pool in the adjacent aquapark. Perfect to relax after a long hike. For our next trip to Slovenia we might stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful but airco is not manageable by room. They put airco for entire hotel and that's it. The breakfast is not really full of choice. Swimming pool is ok even if on the pictures they were more funny games for little children than actually there.

We had a mediocre experience at Eco Hotel Bohinj. The property felt bland, dated, and impersonal — definitely not what we were hoping for in such a beautiful and unique region. While the hotel is marketed as 4-star, it didn’t live up to that standard in terms of atmosphere or service. The staff ranged from cold and rushed to outright unfriendly. One front desk staffer (Tina) even scoffed at our basic questions, which set the wrong tone. The overall vibe was rigid and transactional, rather than warm or welcoming. On the plus side, our kids enjoyed the water park, and we appreciated the hotel’s commitment to sustainability. But beyond that, the hotel didn’t add much — and certainly didn’t enhance our experience of this otherwise magical area. We didn’t have a terrible time, but we’d recommend looking elsewhere if you’re hoping for a charming, memorable, or truly 4-star stay in Bohinj.

I book superior mountain view room, my view was a factory that was open and noisy 24 hours a day. The view of two large chimney of misty, white smoke was " the mountain view". The four nights i stayed they come to clean the room one time only, not bothering to replace the towels. The hotel does notvhave the pool. It is connecting to nearby aqua park, which is used by a lot of school kids

Poor value for the money

At check in we were given room 001 - and I said nice - because last nights at another Hotel we also had room 001, and normally 001 is one of the best rooms. Unfortunately this was NOT the case at this Hotel, as Room 001 (which was booked as executive room) had a very limited balcony compared with all other rooms - and further the mountain view (and sun to Balcony) was obstructed by trees just in front of the balcony. Consequesntly the room was very dark. The first night we had our dinner at the Hotel - and that was just boring industial feeding - we were there at 07.30 but already there some of the buffet was empty and not refilled - the second night we had our dinner at the sister Hotel a few hundred meters away - and that was much better. Breakfast was also not up to expectations - at an Eco Hotel we do expect to get fresh juiced and not poor industrial juice concentrate which was only there. In generel the premises are worn down. Poor value for the money!

Déçus

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel lors de notre road trip, et globalement, l’expérience a été assez moyenne en comparaison avec les autres établissements que nous avons testés. L’hôtel est clairement vieillot, que ce soit au niveau du mobilier, des infrastructures ou de la décoration des chambres. Certains équipements annoncés n’étaient pas accessibles, comme la salle de sport fermée, ce qui était assez décevant. Le personnel n’était pas désagréable, mais nettement moins accueillant que dans les autres hôtels où nous avons séjourné, ce qui a renforcé notre impression mitigée. Dans l’ensemble, l’établissement aurait vraiment besoin d’un bon rafraîchissement, tant sur le plan des équipements que du service, pour être au niveau des attentes actuelles. Pour le prix, nous nous attendions à une meilleure expérience.

Der Unterkunft befindet sich in einem wunderschönen Ort. Mann kann dort die Natur richtig genießen. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit (aber die könnten noch mehr freundlicher sein). Zusätzlich, gab es noch eine Sache, in der Dusche an der Decke gab es schimmel und Feuchtigkeit mit ein paar Spinnennetz an einigen Ecken. Das müsste eigentlich beobachtet werden, da andere (Zickige Leute, werden das nicht akzeptieren). Allgemeine Bewertung: 4.4 / 5

La struttura è moderna, ben arredata, le camere sono spaziose e luminose, la TV riceve molti canali in diverse lingue. La zona è ben servita, nei dintorni ci sono un supermercato, una farmacia e diversi ristoranti. Buona colazione a buffet. Non posso recensire l'Acqua Park e la zona wellness non avendone usufruito. Scarsa attenzione del personale nel far rispettare le norme anti Covid ai clienti.

Best place to stay in Bohinj

Probably the best place to stay in Bohinj, Bowling Alley is a great touch and we made good use of it! Friendly and helpful staff made our stay comfortable, even when the airline lost our luggage. Free shuttle to the slopes. Overall, highly recommended and we will stay here again.

Nothing wrong, but nothing special for the price

There's nothing explicitly wrong with this hotel, but there's nothing special about it either given the choice of other accommodations in the surrounding area. The rooms are adequate but boring, the staff is lackluster, the food (we had breakfast) satisfactory, so you are not hungry. but definitely not standing out in any way. And we could do without the staff arguing loudly during breakfast ... Also, we booked a "Mountain View" room and even joked before arriving how could any room in Bohinj not have a view of the mountains ... well, we had a parking lot view! For the price you can do much better in Bohinjska Bistrica and the surrounding area and best leave this hotel to conference guests, which it was full of when we were there (late November).

The hotel was easy to find. The room is spacious and looked nice designed but felt a little old. Good enough for us to stay 1 night in between visiting near by beautiful nature. The breakfast buffet has a great range including some local dishes. It looked busy but there are some empty tables so it was not very packed. At our arrival, we saw many teens/younger crowds (like a school trip) and we were afraid of some noise and traffic but it was alright. We saw other business groups, so we assume the hotel accepts many big groups as well. Communication with the hotel staff before our arrival was not very smooth due to their English (I hope), but the staff we checked us in was helpful. We did not get to use the spa as we arrive late. I wanted to try their pool in the spa lounge but I needed to book a massage to use so I gave up.

Not what we expected

We were rather disappointed with this stay. Place came across as a fancy hotel/spa with relaxing pools. Instead it was a rather standard hotel, with an external public pool (with loads of people) and not overly friendly staff. Room was good and well facilitated. However, I did spot a couple of bed bugs in the room the following morning which I have reported to the hotel staff, so this made the stay a little disappointing.

Perfekt hotell för barnfamilj som vill kombinera naturupplevelser (vandra, kajak,cykla) med AquaPark (med spa). Går lätt att ta sig dit med tåg och sen ta sig runt i området utan bil.

Hotel maravilhoso, se você vai para BLED, pode ficar aqui, está a 16KM de BLED em uma Estrada linda e boa. Para quem vai com crianças este hotel e perfeito.
