The hallways had literal mould growing from the ceiling I have photographic evidence, the taps in our room had the chrome eroded off, the carpets looked awful and threadbare. More than 4 things were out of order including an elevator and vending machines. Staff gave us no information on arrival about breakfast, recommendations of restaurants, the sights of the city and we wasn't even told about the WIFI. Overall for a three star hotel we were disappointed we had just come from a 3 star hotel in Verona and they were miles better.

Gammalt vackert hotel med bra läge
Vi bokade Palace då det låg centralt samt hade garage. Varmt och bekvämt rum med sköna sängar. Rena fräscha lakan. Tyst och lungt så vi sov gott. Personalen var otroligt trevliga och hjälpsamma i receptionen. Frukosten var helt ok med det mesta. Läget var toppen.

WOW!
I'll just say this.....I prepaid for 2 nights. I left after the first night. I didn't even think about asking for a refund.....this hotel needs all the cash it can grab. I'll ask my accountant if I can't claim my lost prepaid night as alms for the poor. Yes, THAT bad! I should have believed all the other reviews about the dirty carpet, loud cinema noise, unfriendly welcome.

Not worth it
Building is awful, location is good but bologna is so tiny. Find a better hotel than this, you will thank me. Rooms are old and cold. We had a big room for our family of 4. Dirty carpet and the cherry on top: bed bugs

Struttura veramente datata e a mio avviso non curata. Moquette a terra e tappezzeria con una quantità di aloni imbarazzante. Letto scomodissimo con le molle nella schiena. Un salto istantaneo negli anni 80. Unica salvezza la posizione centrale che per 1 sola notte ha reso sopportabile il soggiorno.

The staff overall were friendly and helpful. The room was fine. Everything is a little outdated, but clean and basicaslly comfortable. The shower head fixture in the bathroom was broken so one has to hold the shower head the whole time. The location is excellent and in that sense good value for money. But a major problem is noise: the hotel is right above a cinema and even on the third floor, the sound and music blasted upwards into the rooms until about midnight. The walls and ceilings are also paper thin, meaning one can hear people talking in other rooms and walking overhead or in the corridor outside, until late at night and then again early in the morning. Not for light sleepers...

Se non fosse per la posizione centralissima sarei scappato. Hotel vecchio, una moquette lercia ovunque. Le camere datate letti improponibili, il mio matrimoniale era un'accoppiata di due letti singoli con altezze diverse!! Materassi a molla distrutti. In camera la moquette era suducia macchiata dappertutto. Le finestre di legno vecchio piene di spifferi, la porta della camera non chiudeva bene ed entrava la luce dal corridoio. Pavimento scricchiolante, durante la notte senti qualsiasi movimento nelle altre camere. Sul bagno meglio tacere...il personale é comunque molto gentile e disponibile. Peccato, hotel con un gran potenziale ma nel complesso PESSIMO.

So loud and noisy hotel. Also there is a cinema next building and you can hear movie and vibrations until midnight. Another thing is floors of the hallways and doors which are making disturbing rumbles.

Prime Time since long gone. 110 rum med en liten fungerande hiss är en dålig kombination. Ingen fungerande ventilation eller AC. Rummen kokade över av sommarvärmen. Hotellet har inte fått någon omvårdnad på säkert 50 år. Vänlig å hjälpsam personal i receptionen och ett bra läge i stan. Nära till allt men en lugn gata bakom huvudstråket. Jag väljer ett annat hotell nästa gång

This hotel has charm and a unique feel. We had a very pleasant stay here. Staff were helpful and polite, room was clean and well presented and we had Aircon and an extra fan for temperature control. I would recommend this hotel because it's convenient, good value and it's like a piece of history in itself. Beautiful.
