The property is exactly as advertised and pictured. It was a great place to stay as a family for a few days. Even though our host spoke little English and us even less French we were able to communicate just fine.

Perfect

We had a wonderful 9 days at this unique property. Even though temperatures reached 40c we stayed cool in the pool and stone built property. Viola was a wonderful host, we had just enough French and English between us to get by! Buses were close, cheap and plentiful allowing easy exploration of this beautiful city. Only five mins walk to great local shops and eateries in Cauderon (although some were shut for the summer break). We really loved our stay and hope to return someday. Magnifique!

Beautiful place

Such a gorgeous house with an amazing garden and pool. Good location from the airport in a nice, quiet suburb. Viola was really responsive and very helpful. Would stay here again!

Great place to spend a week wine tasting

It was a nice house with only a few problems. The bedrooms were very comfortable and living space nice. We really enjoyed the outdoor dining area. It is a way from downtown and can be time consuming as a all of the tours leave from there. There were a few problems with the appliances, the burners could be hard to light, the oven only had one temperature, hot and the clothes washer could get stuck closed. Overall we had a great time and would consider returning.

A charming escape

Viola greeted us with a sincere welcome and allowed us to experience what she created. A tasteful personally designed house in a quite residential suburban district of Bordeaux. It was perfect.

Les photos sont fidèles à l'annonce et tout est fait pour se sentir bien et 'chez soi'. L'endroit est super calme sans un bruit et nous avons passé 10 jours dehors. Viola est très gentille et pleines d'idées pour les visites et les trams. Seul bémol...la piscine n'a pas d'échelle donc difficile pour ceux qui ont des difficultés physiques de ressortir mais nous avons trouvé des solutions pour en profiter. Si vous souhaitez vous reposer....c'est l'endroit parfait!

Exceptional unique property

We’ve had a superb stay at this lovely property in the suburbs of Bordeaux. We used it as a place to enjoy quality family time before my sons wedding. It’s very well equipped and Viola is charming and helpful. I would highly recommend it as the pool and unique features make it a perfect place to relax and enjoy all Bordeaux has to offer.

Perfect place to unwind

Good location for exploring Bordeaux (5 mins walk to 2 good bus services with 10 mins ride to city) and the surrounding area ( Bassin d’Arcachon, sunset over Dune du Pilat, St Emilion and self explore tours of numerous wine regions- we used a hire car for these trips) . Groceries and pharmacy walking distance. We enjoyed a relaxing week here. Private pool and pretty garden were essentials for us- lovely relaxing place. Wished we could have stayed longer and would be happy to return. Stairs to upstairs bedrooms steep but not an issue for us. Lovely airy big double bedroom and shower room downstairs if you have a less agile member in your family. Good meal at Le Cerey around the corner and at Place des Martyrs de la Resistance ( with tables in square under trees near church) . Viola was very helpful and responded promptly - we messaged using the App . Good strong WiFi! Unrestricted parking on streets outside house.

Dépaysement garanti dans cette magnifique maison de type arcachonaise réaménagée avec beaucoup de goût et pleine de vie. Quartier bordelais très calme, intimité garantie, équipement irréprochable, espaces de vie intérieur et extérieur remplis de charme , fonctionnels et confortables … Situation idéale pour visiter Bordeaux et sa région. Si l'on rajoute un accueil particulièrement aimable de la part de sa propriétaire au cœur de son univers, on s''approche de la maison de vacances idéale que l'on ne peut que recommander même si on aimerait s'en garder l'exclusivité pour les prochains séjours .

Charme!!

Très bon accueil, propriétaire ayant beaucoup de goût pour décorer sa maison. Très belle maison (conformes aux photos) beaucoup de charme, on s'y sent vraiment a l'aise. Poutres apparentes qui donne vraiment une sensation "cocon".La piscine est vraiment un plus... Boulangeries à proximités, carrefour market, pharmacie. Un peu éloigné du centre ville mais transport en commun facile d'accès. En conclusion: un lieu bourré de charme, idéal pour se détendre, se ressourcer et profiter pleinement de ses vacances.

Le paradis au coeur de Bordeaux !

Nous avons adoré l'accueil et la maison est très agréable. Nos enfants ont bien joué dans la piscine et sur la terrasse. Excellente situation : les boulangeries et les commerçants sont à 2 pas, le centre de Bordeaux est très facile d'accès. Nous avons visité les villes du bord de mer comme les domaines viticoles. Un super séjour !

Un super séjour !

Les fêtes de fin d'années ont eu un cadre magnifique. Merci à Violeta pour son accueil plus que chaleureux. La maison est vraiment grande et accueillante avec son style arcachonais. On ne manque de rien et on s'y sent vraiment à l'aise ! Clin d'œil poir le grand salon ainsi que la belle chambre du bas et sa salle de bain en pierre. Au mois de Décembre personne n'a été assez courageux pour tester la piscine mais elle rajoute à cette maison un charme certain pour les périodes estivales. Je recommande vivement !

Majestueux

Ce que j'aurais à dire se résume en un mot : "Majestueux". Dès la première ouverture de porte, nous avons immédiatement aimé la maison. Au regard de ma femme et de mes enfants, je me suis senti fier d'avoir fait le choix de la maison de Violetta. La maison est en parfaite ligne avec sa description voire mieux. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine. Les marques d'attention et la disponibilité du propriétaire à nous donner un coup de main tout au long de notre séjour étaient exceptionnels et pour cela nous la remercions encore. question par mail nous avions une réponse dans les 5 minutes et ce, tout au long de notre séjour. La maison est située dans un quartier huppé de Bordeaux, Caudéran, à mi chemin de tout et cela fut un plaisir supplémentaire pour nous. Je recommande vivement cette location à vos internautes. Nous y retournerons certainement et pour y rester plus longtemps que cette première fois. Merci merci merci merci pour tout
