我訂到的是二樓的房間，樓梯很陡，大件行李難以運送。基本上，就是一間老房子改裝。木頭的，大家動靜會聽得很清楚，介意的話，就住不了。床單乾淨，起居室很溫馨，還提供紙本景點路線供撕取，很貼心。房間鑰匙圈是羊齒骨，有意思。 樓下是雙人床，樓上是兩張單人床，如果手腳不便，記得別選二樓。 其他設備還好。

房子內部為木製2層樓，走路難免會有聲響。入住時會將鑰匙掛在牆上，找尋對應的房間名字。房間很幸運被安排在1樓，不用拖著的行李上下樓真是太好了。早餐提供自助式吐司果醬蛋起司火腿果汁，很簡單卻也很豐盛，自己用完再將盤子杯子清洗乾淨放回。

This guest house is such a hidden jam! Lovely restored farm house in beautiful setting, spacious room (we had triple with private room), amazing variety of breakfast offered for you to pick. Knowing how groceries are expensive in Iceland, I find the host is extremely generous. You can even cook your dinner in the shared kitchen if you like, (though we went out for dinner to town, we were very happy with their lamb chop). Shared dining and living room are lovely, too, with antique furniture, It’s the best value place we stayed in Iceland during our two weeks’ stay.

This place is unlike any other guesthouse we stayed in. It is a loved structure, lovingly restored with a fascinating history. The hand-built steep stairs are a wonder of carpentry! The kitchen is well organized and well-stocked. We happened to meet the owner and their daughter and loved our conversation with them. They gave us a deeper insight into rural life in Iceland and sowed us details of the house we would not have known about. Recommend highly!

Very old house with floorboards that sunk under your feet. No one to greet you or that was on the premises. Stairs were old and very steep and in need of repair. Had to get your own breakfast out of the refrigerator and serve yourself. Not many choices and some didn't seem fresh for breakfast. Had to wash your own dishes, silverware etc. when done. Power went out when we were there in an old house with just six people there. Had to search for a breaker panel in an old house in the dark. Another couple tried to wash their clothes, and of course you can't open a front load washer when the power goes out. We helped them try to figure out how to get their clothes out even when the power came back on in about 30 minutes. There was no English notes on the washer/dryer on how to use it. All written in Icelandic, even notes by the owners on use of a German appliance. Had to kill several spiders during the night.

La maison date de 1895. C’était vraiment très mignon et décoré à l’ancienne. L’escalier pour le deuxième étage est très abrupte. Je ne recommande pas pour les personnes ayant peur des hauteurs! Il est difficile de monter des gros bagages, mais j’ai beaucoup apprécié notre grande chambre à l’étage. Il n’y avait pas beaucoup de locataires en même temps que nous. Nous avions la salle de bain du haut pour nous seulement. Pour le déjeuner il y avait vraiment beaucoup de choses à disposition. J’y retournerai à sans hésitation.

Really great stay, luckily had the site to myself. Home had an antique farmhouse charm in the countryside. Equipped with all the amenities to enjoy a nice night in or prepare you for a little adventure in the city. Stayed in the upstairs loft, again rustic and original. Great view of the sky from all angles. If you stay at this guesthouse I highly recommend giving yourself to enjoy the space. Also listen to the birds outside on the veranda while the sun sets and a glass of whiskey. Slainte

The place is an old postman's house. The stairs were v narrow n one of the step is on itz last leg n u mght bonk ur head while going up/dwn these stairs carrying heavy luggage like we did. I think tis place culd use replacement steps to get to top floor. This is an old house n I appreciated the old wrld charm while having ample brkfst options n fully equipped shrd kitchen but I found tis to b the least pleasant experience of all the places I stayed at in iceland. It had an early chkout which I didnt realize and the owner was v nice n accomodating but my experience here was not great because it was hard to share the small kitchen space w/2 other families. I also felt it was overpriced for wat it was or that might b because I bked it v close to our stay here.
