「We had a total of 12 people in our group and this property setup was perfect. People ages 8 months to 65 years. Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. Need cell phone access for getting to the property. We got to see northern lights while there so that was nice. Absolutely recommend staying here」

Hosts were so nice with great communication…helped a lost cat that showed up find its owner…we LOVE cats..so this was so nice that they also love cats and helped reunite the lost cat with its family. 「Our brief, 1-night stay at the cabin was great. Having firewood readily available to burn helped take the chill off. The cabin was clean, spacious and comfortable. Jokull was a great communicator. My only regret about our stay was we didn't get to use the sauna; we were beat from a long day. But, we were treated to a Northern Lights show in the wee hours of the night, after the clouds parted. Visible right from the deck. 」
