We (5 friends 30-35yo) really enjoyed our stay at Franco and Emily’s place. The villa was big (way more than we tough) and the yard even more. The communication with Franco and Emily was really smooth. Our favorite thing was the outside kitchen! The view is stunning. Thank you so much Franco and Emily :)

A group of 7 of us stayed at Francis property for a week. The place was a fantastic hub for visiting vineyards, Florence, Pisa and all other touristy bits you may like to do. Sadly the weather was not on our side so we did not get to use the pool or garden as much as we would like, but there was plenty of other things to keep us busy. Franco was excellent with the check in and checkout process, being very flexible and accommodating. Thanks once again 👍

As a group of five adults we found this lovely house with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms had plenty of space for us all. Both double bedrooms had adjoining dressing room and ensuite. The house was very clean and Franco and his wife welcomed us very warmly, leaving a contact telephone number, but leaving us alone while we were staying. The neighbours do have dogs which of course bark a bit, so that was a nuisance. The view from the terrace magical, great kitchen and comfortable living spaces, although we spent most of our time on the terrace. WiFi doesn't work, which was a bit of a problem, but understand we were in the country. The restaurant in Grezzano (2 kms away) was fabulous and authentic cooking. The villages within easy reach beautiful, uncrowded and with fascinating history. Florence an easy train trip from Borgo San Lorenzo. I hope we have the opportunity to stay here again, a bit 'far from the madding crowd'.

We enjoyed the holiday very much. We were 10 people (including 3 children) and a small dog. The house is great and spacious. Traditional, Tuscan architecture with the usual comfort of today. You definitely need a car, the house is very secluded (the description of „How to find us“ was adventurous and must be improved!). From here you can make great tours in the entire region - by car, by train (starting in Borgo S. Lorenzo) or by bike. Back to the house: Everything is abundant, housewares, towels etc. There are several bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything is clean and well maintained and is very tastefully and typically decorated for the region. The comfortable living room with fireplace makes it enjoyable even on cooler days. The Wi-Fi network is expandable (we had no internet after 5 days). The house has two terraces, one of which is covered incl. an outdoor kitchen and barbecue, which we used regularly and regardless of the weather. From here you have a top view over the Tuscan countryside. The garden is a dream, versatile planted and - thanks to Andrea - very maintained. Set on a hillside, at the bottom of the garden is the relax area with a large pool and sun loungers - not just a paradise for the kids. All in all, most of the description corresponded, so that we felt very comfortable. Many thanks to Franco and his team for a great holiday.

Es war einfach alles perfekt - von Anfang bis Ende! Das Haus und der Garten (welcher riesig ist) sind wunderschön und haben eine tolle persönliche Note! Wir haben die Einrichtung geliebt und gleich wie zuhause gefühlt. Auch unser kleiner Hund Rocky fand es super! Es war wie im Paradies. Das Haus bietet sehr viel Platz und auch mit zwei Familien tritt man sich nicht auf die Füße und jeder hat genug Freiraum. Den Pool haben wir täglich genutzt und die Aussicht ist phänomenal! Auch sehr gute Restaurants gibt es in der Nähe und falls man möchte kann man in der Außenküche auch mal schön grillen. Franco, der Gastgeber war und ist super sympathisch und sofort bei allen Fragen oder Problemen zur Stelle. Wir haben uns super aufgehoben gefühlt und danken Franco unser seiner sehr netten Frau nochmals ganz herzlich für die große Gastfreundschaft - es war ganz bestimmt nicht unser letztes Mal und wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen! Tutto era semplicemente perfetto, dall'inizio alla fine! La casa e il giardino (che è enorme) sono bellissimi e hanno un grande tocco personale! Abbiamo adorato l'arredamento e ci siamo sentiti come a casa nostra. Anche il nostro cagnolino Rocky l'ha adorata! È stato come un paradiso. La casa offre molto spazio e anche con due famiglie non ci si pesta i piedi a vicenda e tutti hanno abbastanza spazio. Abbiamo usato la piscina ogni giorno e la vista è fenomenale! Ci siamo sentiti molto bene e vorremmo ringraziare ancora una volta Franco e la sua gentilissimmo

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in diesem Ferienhaus in der Toskana, nahe Borgo San Lorenzo, unweit von Florenz. Der freundliche Besitzer Franco nimmt einen persönlich in Empfang und kümmert sich darum, dass ab Check-in alles so ist wie gewünscht. Es geht familiär zu. Haus samt Anlage mit Pool sind toll und es fehlt an nichts. Alles ist großzügig genug (z.B. 2 Terrassen und der Garten am Pool), so dass man auch in größeren Runden zu jeder Zeit Rückzugsorte hat. Die Umgebung ist Toskana pur in ihrer schönsten Form, wirklich atemberaubend. Das Ferienhaus bildet den perfekten Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen: Florenz, Siena, Volterra, Pisa oder auch Venedig usw. Wir haben diesen Urlaub zum zweiten Mal sehr genossen und kommen bestimmt noch ein drittes Mal. Danke Franco für die Gastfreundlichkeit.

We hebben heerlijk genoten in dit fantastische huis. Alle ruimte, lekker zwembad en prachtig uitzicht. Je moet wel voor alles de auto pakken door de ligging van het huis, maar dat was voor ons geen probleem.

We stayed at Francos estate for at week and loved every minute. Everything is in place, in abundance and Franco was very helpful in giving hints and recommendations of venues and dining. The house is very big, and offers more than promised in the pictures. The garden is full of lush flowers (in mid July), and the pool area is private with a wonderful view of the hills. We give our best recommendations to this place :-)

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Casa! Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll und detailliert eingerichtet und die überdachte Terrasse lädt zum verweilen ein. Unten am Pool hat man den ganzen Tag über Sonne! Der Weg zum Pool ist allerdings etwas steinig, wir haben immer Getränke mit nach unten genommen, damit man nicht ständig hin und her muss. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Proprietà stupenda, leggermente fuori dal centro abitato ma a meno di un'ora di macchina dal centro di Firenze. Pulita, accessoriata di tutto il necessario, ampi spazi in cui passare il tempo in compagnia (12 persone). Proprietario dell'abitazione molto disponibile e sempre rintracciabile per qualsiasi esigenza nonostante fosse fuori sede. Davvero consigliata.

Me and my sons had a wonderful week here. We were made very welcome and the whole property was shown and explained to us in detail. Everything in the house worked fine. The pool, which was the most important place in this ultra-hot summer, was also great. The pool pump was exaktly adjusted, the pool was always clean, we didn't have to worry about a thing. Perfect: the outdoor fridge right by the pool! Also very attentive: everything I usually forget on a self-catering holiday was there! (salt, tabs for the dishwasher, coffee capsules, etc.) There were even some cold drinks and fresh milk in the fridge for us when we arrived. Thanks for that! What else to say? The house is well protected against mosquitoes on all windows. Despite the extreme heat, the nights were bearable because the house stays reasonably cool and there was a fan for each bedroom. Regarding criticism from previous guests: Yes, you can hear the racetrack. But more like a distant road. it didn't bother us and despite racing on the Track, I slept wonderfully in the shade under the old olive trees. And yes, the neighbors' dog sometimes barks. It's just a dog that guards the neighbors' yard. At night he was quiet. Didn't bother us. By the way: The neighbors were very nice and put the rubbish out on the street for us. Summary: If you want to enjoy a nice stay in the Tuscan countryside, with a pool, sun or shade under old olive trees with a magnificent view of valleys and hills, this is the place for you. You'll even get some insider tips for local shops and restaurants from Emily and Franco. But you shouldn't be afraid of country life and nature, because we had some animal encounters in the garden. The old mill might not be as perfect and practical as a modern hotel. (Tall people have to duck their heads at the door frames) But everything here has been prepared with a lot of charm and even more love. It is reminiscent of an old property with modern conveniences. For us, it was perfect.

Villa avec beaucoup de charme et très spacieuses. Espaces verts très bien entretenus et chaleureux. De nombreux endroits permettant aux différents habitants de former des groupes a part pour plus de tranquillité ou de se retrouver tous ensemble pour plus de convivialité. Un accueil chaleureux et un propriétaire disponible en cas de besoin. Nous étions 2 familles avec enfants (13 et 17 ans) et nous avons passé de très bons moment. Merci.

Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen noch übertroffen, liebevoll bis ins Detail eingerichtet und ruhig gelegen. Die überdachte Terrasse war das Highlight mit einem wunderbaren Blick über die schöne Landschaft. Im weitläufigen Garten laden viele schön angelegte Sitzplätze zum Verweilen ein. Der Pool fügt sich harmonisch in das terrassenförmig angelegte Gelände ein. Der Wald beginnt direkt hinter dem Haus, ideal mit Hund. Die Betreuung durch den Besitzer und die Verwalterin war excellent. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

la maison est magnifique, pleine de charme, mention spéciale pour les chambres, belles, spacieuses, meublées avec gout, bien équipées et literies hyper confortables! la cuisine est parfaitement équipée, ça donne envie de se mettre aux fourneaux.Bémol: la piscine est loin de la maison, petit chemin qui serpente a travers le magnifique jardin et plutôt froide, la position en altitude de la maison donne de la fraicheur, petite laine conseillée le soir; la vue est sublime, notre hôtesse qui parle français nous a tout expliqué, les bonnes adresses, les restos, les parkings a Florence.... génial! je recommande vivement cette adresse!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Wir waren hier mit 8 Erwachsenen und 5 Kindern. Es war genug Platz für alle da. Das Haus und der Garten bieten reichlich Rückzugsorte, die zum Entspannen einladen. Besonders sind uns die sehr gute Ausstattung, die schöne Terrasse und der gepflegte Pool aufgefallen. In der Küche ist alles was man braucht und noch viel mehr. Utensilien, Geschirr und Gläser haben eine gute Qualität, was alles gleich viel einfacher und komfortabler macht. Das Haus ist eine Mischung aus Landhaus und Moderne. Die Bäder sind alle sehr sauber und in sehr gutem Zustand. Das gesamte Haus ist sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Pool war sauber und lud zum Abkühlen ein. Über eine kleine Treppe durch den schönen Garten erreicht man den Poolbereich. Am Pool ist eine kleine Wiese mit Liegen, einem Sonnendach und einem Kühlschrank. Um Pool und Garten kümmert sich eine Bewässerungsanlage bei Nacht und ein sehr freundlicher Gärtner, der in der Woche 3 Mal vorbeigeschaut hat. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war sehr unkompliziert. Francesca war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank! Mille Grazie!

Une semaine de vacances en famille dans la maison de Franco. Accueil impeccable, grande maison très bien équipée. Magnifique jardin. Parfait pour se reposer, l'endroit est assez reculé mais facile d'accès et une petite épicerie (bonne pizzeria et glaces également!) A 15 min de voiture. Seul point moins positif mais finalement peu dérangeant, le bruit du circuit de voiture non loin que l'on entend à certains moments de la journée. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour!

Un posto meraviglioso per chi cerca la pace e tranquillità. La casa é molto spaziosa e particolare, oltre a essere attrezzatissima. Il proprietario e il suo staff sono stati gentilissimi e disponibili. Siamo stati benissimi e abbiamo passato una vacanza da sogno.

Die Villa liegt etwas entlegen wunderschön in den Hügeln der Toskana. Die absolute Entspannung wird etwas getrübt, wenn Nachbars bellende Hunde die Ruhe stören (Tag und Nacht) oder am nahe gelegenen Ring Rennen gefahren werden, was bei uns an 7 der 14 Tagen der Fall war. Da es noch einige weitere Kleinigkeiten wie z.B. nicht funktionierende Internet oder fehlende Bettwäsche gegeben hat, insgesamt nur eine mittelmäßige Bewertung.
