「This was our second holiday at this cosy, homely cottage. Mairi is so thoughtful - everything was provided, and there was also a lovely welcome pack on our arrival. Beds are very comfortable, and this location is incredibly quiet, so you are guaranteed a perfect night's sleep. 「Our stay was wonderful. The house was extremely comfortable, and the location was absolutely beautiful. 「Four of us stayed in a beautiful two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. The views were stunning. The apartment was spotless and very well equipped. Our host Christina could not have been more welcoming or helpful. After days exploring Lewis in all sorts of weather it was wonderful to come home to a comfortable and luxurious apartment and a hot shower.」

「The property was exactly as it looked in the pictures, it was airy, clean and spacious with lots of room for the whole group to get together but plenty of quieter space for some 'me time'. We already know the island and have lots of family there and Jan and Callum offered to come and extend our table if they were coming over, asked where we needed safety gates and provided top class toddler safe equipment. 「This was a comfortable, roomy cottage. We used it as a home base for exploring the Isles of Harris and Lewis. The owners were friendly and very responsive. This is still one of the spots we rave about after our trip. There is a great little coffee/tea/shop just at the end of the drive with a friendly proprietor and even friendlier doggo. 」

「We had a great time in the Decca- the former radio navigation station in the very northwest of the Isle of Lewis. It is just some steps of the Butt of Lewis, where there is an amazing landscape with a lot of beautiful sheep.」

「Everyone should put it on there bucket list. The owner was outstanding, very informative and helpful in all aspects of the trip. I would highly recommend the motorhome option on the Hebrides — but only —if people are comfortable driving a large vehicle on some very tiny Scottish roads.
