“The property is a little older but the staff is great. Mostly clean. They just need to focus on dusting. The vents had a bunch of dust. But it was not a big deal because everything else was clean.”

“Our room smelled like pets. In particular it smelled like a dog kennel. I have allergies and it caused me to become very congested and made me sneeze a lot. There was a terribly loud and persistent noise coming from the thermostat and heat/cool unit in our room. It started up about every five minutes or so. Even after we turned it off it made loud noises like an industrial refrigerator. 👎”

“It was rainy during my visit. The room had the sent of a nursing home. The bed covers looked like they had stains on them. The room and beds were otherwise nice. It was super convenient to visit Gardner-Webb University.”

“The biggest complaint I have is Expedia says in a pop up window when on the site "what you see is what you pay- we're different". That is an outright lie. When I got to the property they charged me and additional $26 for "incidentals" referring to breakfast (which by the way looked terrible) While I don't eat breakfast, I shouldn't have to pay for it. I tried to book another property in Charlotte for another trip and in the small print it says, the property will charge an additional $50 for……

“During the week I stayed at the hotel, I developed a skin irritation on my body. I believe it was caused by the bed sheets, which were contaminated with bacteria. I took an antihistamine, and by the following week, I had recovered; I moved to another hotel and did not experience this problem again! I have never had this issue happen to me before!”

“We got to the motel around 8 PM Saturday night 5/16. I told the front desk that we were there to check in and made our reservations via Expedia. She asked me to give her my driver's license and I did. She looked at my license and told us we could not stay there because we lived to close to the motel. We said you got to be kidding! She said no that they have problems with local people staying there and creating problems where they have to call the cops. We live in Banner Elk which is about 50……
