The hotel has recently undergone a bunch of renovations you can tell they are trying to update. I was really pleased with our room and how clean and comfortable the beds were. Some of the front desk staff is extremely helpful. Others are rude and we basically ignore you and pretend like you’re not there. We were concerned because we had seen the pool was recently under renovations and I triple checked to make sure it was open and functional as that’s an important amenity to us. We were told it was fine and yet we got there. It was so green and cloudy you couldn’t step foot in there. We also were awoken at 3:45 AM by a rowdy group of people in the parking lot drinking and smoking weed called the front desk multiple times to mediate no one answered so I ended up ultimately having to call the police. I do think this is a nice enough hotel for the price point and the location is really prime. I have actually reached out to the regional manager because although i still felt it was a good value there is room for improvement.

Hall ways were freezing, no tv guide or advertisements about whats available in area. Pool area had no tables or trash bins. I went there for years and always found everything more than satisfying. With allbthe renovations going on over the years the pool is smaller and only 4.9 in. deep. The heater was very loud and still renovations going on that changed route to Restaurant. They were always alloud early check in and later checkout. Now they don't and I could understand if there were a lot of people there but there wasn't.

Outstanding customer service. Everyone was truly happy to be working there and extended their kindness to everyone they came in contact with. The live music, food, and patrons were the “Sprinkles on top”. Our room was tidy and clean, and never an issue getting additional supplies. I’ve gotta talk about the bed. The bed made all the difference! Where did you get that bed? I have to have one. We have both agreed that we will not be staying anywhere else when we return in May. Outstanding job Crown Plaza. Way to go. ☺️

Housekeeping was amazing, it was clean. However, the constriction on the building made it a nightmare with the frigid temps. The keys randomly stopped working and I was told it was a common occurance. Skipped the breakfasts we prepaid because of the inconveniences of trydging thru snow incbelow zero weather to get there- we were furthest possible from there. 10/10 likely will not return because it was nothing but inconvenience the entire stay and a waste of money.

I will adjust rating on Monday if the extra $200+ random charge is dropped or not. It’s been pending since arrival as they had me swipe but was wrong amount, so reswiped another card. None of the amounts made any sense. Now waiting to see if pending disappears. Hotel itself is undergoing renovations and will be very nice. Expedia didn’t tell me anywhere that pool was closed during these renovations, it only states it on the actual hotel site. Traveling with my daughter and chose this hotel over 2 others in the area because of pool and just my luck no pool available, so had a disappointed 9 year old. Hotel was clean, staff was great, bed comfy.

The hotel was undergoing renovations which we weren't aware of, but that being said things could have been better. No outdoor signage that the main entrance was closed until you got up to it. The sign said to go to the back of the hotel to check in and then you had to go back outside and drive to another door to get to your room otherwise you had to lug your bags up and down stairs. The water in the shower was hot in the morning, cold at night and that includes the sink in the bathroom.

I didn’t go eat breakfast at the hotel because it was a bar and i don’t go to bars. I tried to eat my breakfast at the room but there is no microwaves at the hotel to warm up my food, not even a microwave downstairs, I’ve never seen that before :( the hotel being under construction should be mentioned on their site so people can be aware of countless inconveniences that might occur. Poor directions inside the hotel related to the construction.
