This isn’t a five star hotel and doesn’t pretend to be. It’s older, was obviously a motel and is pretty dated. However, the staff was nice, friendly and helpful, and the room itself was clean and relatively large. The beds were decent, and the sink and counter by the mini fridge and microwave was a nice touch. The WiFi was a little dodgy at times as was the local tv channel reception. Once we settled in, it suited our purposes nicely. I would recommend sucking it up and paying the $25 a night parking fee. Mount Hood Road is very narrow and finding parking within a reasonable distance consistently is unlikely. Given the prices of other places that we checked out, it’s not a deal breaker if you don’t want to shell out 2-300
bucks a night.
