「La Nuit d'Etang rates more than 5 stars because we think it is exceptional! It is very comfortable, very well appointed, intensively and amusingly decorated both inside and outside, very quiet in a pleasant location and a welcome delight to return to at the end of every day. For those who like cycling, the surrounding countryside is excellent with gently rolling hills and attractive landscapes. There are endless incredibly quiet lanes, plus the voie verte which whisks you fairly effortlessly...

「Lovely staff who were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you, even with the language barrier.
The only disappointing part was that the bar was only available to guests using the restaurant. As we would often arrive back at the hotel too late for dinner, it would have been nice to be able to sit down and have a drink. The only option was the two vending machines in the lobby, which was a shame.」
