“L'hôtel est très bien situé proche du port, Nausicaa, commerces et restaurants. Le personnel est agréable. Cependant la nuit nous avons été importunés par le bruit extérieur. Quand à la chambre une protection type rideaux de douche aurait été appréciée. Sinon la chambre reste correcte en matière de confort.”

“The location is not very convenient, as there are not many places within walking distance. To get to the city center or the beach, you need to drive. However, the hotel has an underground parking garage, which makes it suitable for guests traveling by car. The bathroom inside the room was quite dark, with only a light above the mirror, so the overall lighting was not sufficient. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and welcoming”

“This is our second stay at this hotel. The reception staff, bar staff, kitchen staff and cleaners are all so friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is good with decent choice. We enjoy the pool the most, a little paddling section for our little one. The beach and local town is just a bike ride with lots of cycle paths which makes it fun and safe. There is a large playground half way down toward the beach which we discovered this time. We will come back again!”

“We stayed in a family room that consisted of two rooms. Room 1 - Double bed with a bunk bed above it, with a toilet and shower Room 2 - two single beds with a shower and toilet. Both the rooms were okay in terms of cleanliness, however, the decor was very dated and there were loose parts in the bathroom. For example, shower curtain falling off the rails, bathroom cabinet plastic was broken and the windows had remnants of black duct tape - probably to secure the windows at one point in the……

“A wonderful hotel that is very well situated right on the seafront so the views are spectacular! Parking is a little worrying as the car park is small and tight, so larger vehicles must beware and also, very few disabled spots. The staff on reception are very friendly with good English, which helped us to not murder their beautiful language! Very attentive and certainly proactive to all requests. They were even able to offer us several UK/EU adaptors and had a box full of cables to charge……

“This is a lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. The staff are both professional and friendly. The room we had was in the main building and was decorated in keeping with the building, clean lines and stylish. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious and we also had the breakfast buffet which was good quality and varied. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here.”

“Un court séjour de 2 nuits. La chambre - lees lits - la salle de bain étaint comfortables. Le petit déj suffisait bien. Il y avait du choix: pain, fromage, jambon, fruits, yaourt, ... Le personnel était gentil et seviable. Je le recommanderais à d'autres.”

“I need to put context to my score. The building is exquisite. You see tradition seeping through the walls and the way it was restructured into mini suites works incredibly well. The location is also exceptional. The rest of services are limited but it’s a B&B so it’s totally expected. But the dust…the dust…was everywhere. In the room in the staircase and in the entrance hall. The breakfast room instead was well cleaned. For a couple of days was fine but imagining to stay for longer would have……

“The room was perfectly adequate for a stopover en route to the Channel Tunnel. Staff at check in were very friendly and accommodating, especially in allowing us to try speaking French so we could practice. The family room is great with a mezzaine above which the kids found fun. Room was clean and tidy, and beds comfortable. Main complaint was it was a little noisy with people walking to and from rooms on the verandah bit but to be fair it was quiet by 10pm.
