Arc 1950, Large 1 BR overlooks the "jardin de neige", youngest kids' ski school

Arc 1950 is a beautiful pedestrianised village with underground car parking and direct, ski in ski out, access to the wonderful Paradiski ski area; one of the largest linked ski areas in the world. It has 425km of pistes shared between Les Arcs and La Plagne and joined by the astonishing double decker cable car, the Vanoise Express.

Sources de Marie is at the quieter end of the village. 68 is a bright, spacious apartment of 42m2. While it is on the ground floor, it has a balcony due to the level of the land falling away outside. It is almost at the end of the building, so there is very limited footfall past the front door. It is village-side and overlooks the magic carpet and the jardin de neige where our youngest visitors start their journey to learn to ski. We have had endless enjoyment over the years watching them (and our own children) get to grips with the new skill.

It has a view of Mont Blanc from the balcony, great views of the Aiguille Rouge and the Arc 2000 mountains and is close to the Deep Nature Spa with its treatment rooms, hammam and indoor swimming pool (with entry fee). Note: Sources de Marie also has its own free hammam and fitness room, as well as free entry to the swimming pool in Auberge Jerome.

The apartment comfortably accommodates four in a double bed with a double sofa bed in the living area. There is plenty of storage available in the apartment for guests. The apartment has its own WiFi rather than relying on the village wide WiFi. The living area has a dining table which seats four comfortably, a 40” smart TV (Netflix compatible) and don’t forget your favourite DVDs as we also provide a DVD player. The well-equipped kitchen has a 4-ring convection hob, oven, microwave, toaster, filter coffee machine, Nespresso machine, kettle, dishwasher and a fridge freezer. We are keen cooks and there is a large enough selection of pans, frying pans, crockery, glasses etc to cook meals from scratch, although be aware that preparation space is limited. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it and an extendable drying line. There is also a hair dryer and shaver point. The apartment is close to one of the laundries in Sources de Marie.

We have also provided a small selection of board games to entertain younger (and not so young) guests.
