「Absolutely lovely oasis of tranquility in the New Forest. We took our small dog and everything was catered for from bowls and towels in the room to a washing station and poo bags. Staff were amazing, busy but always helpful and chatty. Food was top notch, as were the cocktails and a lovely breakfast. Can’t fault it, oh and there was air con in the room……. Thank god!」

「This is a beautifully situated old mill on a gentle stream with gorgeous grounds. Idyllic. Just outside Lymington but a short 8 minute drive into town or to the ferry. Dinner was good with excellent service. Nice room, comfy beds, good bathroom. We were there on the hottest day of the year so it was very hot in the room but a fan was provided which helped.」

「Room very clean & tidy looks like a recent refurbish which was very well done , the only thing was the mattresses could do with renewing , which is the only negative thing to say about our stay was able to help ourselves to tea ,coffee etc when needed . Could not ask for better staff , nothing to much trouble for them to do , very good choice for breakfast , never went out hungry also very good menu all round with a good choice of drinks at the bar , will definitely stay again and would highly...

「The pub itself is very old and in need of complete redecoration. The stairs, carpets, walls, paintwork leading up to the room was in a very poor state. Carpets need a good clean and decorating needs to be done. However, although the room was very basic and worn, the bed was comfortable, the bed linen clean and well laundered. 「Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good.
