"The bungalow was exactly as described but even better than we expected for a holiday let. A large open-plan and well-appointed lounge/diner/kitchen. The views from the site were lovely. It was quiet and there were several walks around the woods. The site is hilly so be prepared for some exercise! We did not use the pool but it looked very good from the outside. "This is a beautiful rental property. The view & setting is wonderful & very private, entered through electric gates. Ample parking & lovely big terrace with outdoor table. The lane to the property is unmetaled & a farm track but it's not very far from the road so did not pose an issue for us. Property itself is lovely, well maintained & everything you could need for a holiday away. All very clean & tidy. I would highly recommend."

"We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place."
