“The character & history were unbelievable, but the staffing was less than ideal. We didn’t see a single person there. Checkout time was pretty early & if you don’t get to breakfast early, you will miss out. There wasn’t even any coffee left. Glad I got a chance to stay there, but I’m not sure I’d go again…”

“The property is beautiful.
Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable.
The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat.
Allen was so gracious and helpful.
The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs.
Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. And, the young lady that served us breakfast was very nice and helpful.
I’d recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone who is planning to spend time in……

“Overall we had a great first time trip to KY. The hotel provides a full breakfast and “dinner” each day but it lacked in variety. We were underwhelmed by the cleanliness of our room. The linens were dirty, there was vomit in the carpet and the furniture stank. We were disappointed in the bathroom amenities for the price we paid.
