Sauna Haus with Scandinavian design

The Sauna Haus is situated at the back of our 1 acre property. It is perfect for couples wanting to retreat from the world whilst being a short 5 min. drive from Bowral and surrounding attractions including vineyards and golf clubs.

The open plan, light filled, spacious studio apartment has a cosy, comfortable and serene feel with lovely views. A delightful space to relax and unwind with stylish modern decor with simple Scandinavian designs inspired by nature and the climate of the region.

We have intentionally made the space ‘tv free’. Bring that book you have been wanting to read or reduce your stress levels by starting something creative like colouring mandalas.

Free high quality Wifi available.

There is a wood fireplace for winter warmth during April-September. Firewood is supplied.

The main bed in the studio is a Queen bed from Koala and the sofa bed, also from Koala, is a double.

The cottage is well appointed with all necessities.

Fancy a sauna? There is a large bathroom with an infrared sauna. Unlike a traditional sauna, infrared saunas don’t heat the air around you. Instead, they use heat and light technology to warm your body directly. This technology provides extensive health benefits, including relieving pain, increased circulation, skin purification, and muscle relaxation. Deep tissue stimulation also improves cell health and tissue growth, helping you live a healthier life.

A young friendly Schnoodle lives here (hypoallergenic). Feel free to let us know if you're not dog- lovers.

This property has a dedicated dog enclosure.
DOG OWNERS PLS NOTE....We welcome well-behaved small to medium dogs that are non to low shedding. If in doubt, pls check with us about your breed / size of dog. The pet fee is $25. Please include in your booking that you are bringing a pet.

I had a lovely short stay at the Sauna Haus. It is beautifully styled in the Scandi style. The log fire was nice on a cool evening and the added bonus of the Infra red sauna inside the house was great. It is in a peaceful location and conveniently near enough to the main part of Bowral . The property owners were friendly and there to greet on arrival . I can definitely recommend this as a lovely place to stay when visiting Bowral .

Perfect overnight stop

Comfortable beds, hot shower, close to town. Garage was a bonus for us with the heavy rain which meant we could keep our car and things dry before the next leg of the trip.

Beautiful peaceful place

Comfortable, relaxing getaway

This is a wonderful studio to stay in when visiting Bowral. The property is beautiful and our dog had a great time playing in the yard. Relaxing, clean, comfortable and great communication with the host. Hope to stay again in the future!

Cozy and warm in the Winter Chill

We absolutely loved staying here, making use of the gorgeous fireplace, comfy sofa and bed and of course the infra red sauna! Added bonus that our greyhound was able to stay with us and enjoy this beautiful part of Australia.

Beautiful place

The Sauna Haus was a really beautiful place to stay for a couple of nights. The location was very quiet and only 5mins from Bowral main street. The host Natascha was lovely and even gave us a bottle of bubbly for NYE!

Superb short stay

A lovely, comfortable cabin with wonderful insulation! It rained the entire time in Bowral, but we were so cosy with the wood fire! Natascha and Antony are wonderful, welcoming hosts who went out of their way to make our stay so relaxed. My dog Hugo had a ball too!

Super cool

I loved Sauna Haus! Not only was it meticulously designed and crafted but cozy too and the sauna was beautiful and soothing. Only a hop skip from Bowral centre and 2 seconds to a really lovely cafe on the way to town (rabbit hole). Owners a delight and the little doggie as well and I especially loved the chooks!! A really lovely stay. Thanks to Natasha for everything.

I booked this place online it was an easy process. My friends and myself found the house easy it was very cozy and the beds were very comfortable it was easy to locate everything and we were very happy with the stay. The instructions were written out very neatly and easy to understand. ☺️

Absolute comfort

A really top-tier property - beautifully curated and supremely comfortable. The design is amazing - spacious kitchen, lounge/bedroom with log fire and enormous bathroom with infrared-sauna. The super-comfortable bed, linens, plentiful towels and welcome package made us feel truly cared for. The lock-up garage was a bonus; it enabled us to bring our dog and have him warm and safe outside the house on wintery nights.

A beautiful getaway and disconnect from the world. The space was comfortable, spacious and well kept/ looked after. Owners are friendly and were accommodating to requests/ easy communication. Location was lush with nature, fury friends (puppy and rabbits), and quiet. Wish to have stayed longer, would be great in the winter time to utilise the fireplace. Highly recommend.

Perfect couples retreat

It is difficult to find a holiday rental that allows dogs. Usually they are run down and expensive for that is being offered, Not with the Sauna Haus. A beautiful place that is dog friendly! The Sauna Haus is a perfect retreat in beautiful Bowral. The property is spotless, luxurious and attention to detail throughout the property. Without a TV, we enjoyed evenings in front of the fireplace, read the book we never had time for, having a soothing infrared sauna and just disconnect from our busy life. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom spacious and the beds are top notch. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. Very recommended !
