Stay was great, good location, well appointed place with everything you could need. Owner/manager responded promptly and was accommodating for a last minute request to add an extra night. ONLY negative was that I was awakened at 6am every morning by the upstairs residents I assume getting ready to go to work. But if you're an early riser or a heavy sleeper then I would HIGHLY recommend this place for a short stay.
The place was as advertised. Clean and exactly what we needed, a place to sleep while we visited relatives in Gallatin Gateway. Convenient , close, and a LOT cheaper than driving into Bozeman and paying the high weekend hotel prices.
Walls are a little thin as we could hear a baby crying one morning. That was the only negative thing and it was short lived .
The King bed was Comfy , with comfy pillows and linens .
We’d stay again if we are in the area .
It is definitely a small studio but was perfect for my week of work. There isn't a full size fridge but for me that was not a deal breaker. The bed was comfortable. I tried using the toaster oven and set off the smoke detector briefly before my toast was toasted... (sorry!)
Had a great stay. Like other reviews, the upstairs neighbors are pretty loud but luckily there is a good AC unit with a fan that drowned that out and we got restful sleep. Would stay here again.
Clean, super comfortable bed, well-used space. I wouldn’t suggest this space for light sleepers, or those relying on public transportation, but it worked great for us. The host had toiletries, extras for those who forgot a toothbrush/toothpaste. Great stay! Thanks!
Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Gratefull Studio is a great option over the more expensive hotels in the area. Great communication with the host throughout. Only factor that didn’t bring it 5 stars was the noise from the upstairs apartment. To no fault of the renters there we just couldn’t get any rest. The host tried to mitigate the factor to the best of his ability.
A good place to spend the night on our road trip. The washer dryer combo was a nice touch but not an effective way to clean our clothes due to the cycle length and most items needing more time to dry. A box fan would be great for the hotter days. Oh and a table or tray to set food on while eating inside. The shelf by the door was helpful but at head bonking height at 6'2"
I had several issues during my stay at this property that made the experience frustrating. First, the only instructions provided by the host was the door code, and when I arrived, the refrigerator wasn’t working. I tried calling the host, but the number listed was disconnected. I then spent 45 minutes with Vrbo customer service, who also couldn’t help. The host eventually replied and informed me that the fridge was likely unplugged (I had tried pulling the fridge out from the wall earlier to see if it was plugged in but it wouldn’t budge). Turns out the outlet was hidden behind a toaster oven on the opposite side of the kitchenette and it needed to be plugged into a power strip on the shelf under the stairs. But once it was plugged in it still didn’t get cold so I had to manually reset it. By this point my dairy had been unrefrigerated for over 3 hours so the groceries were ruined. Then, when I offered polite feedback about including clearer instructions for future guests, the host responded in a rude and dismissive manner.Additional issues included a running toilet, dirty area rugs that I had to move aside, and a bathroom mat with sticky chunks on it. Noise was also a problem — the walls are so thin I could hear conversations from the neighboring unit word for word (I could hear full conversations from the neighboring unit so clearly that I thought people were standing outside my door). Last but not least the unit is not close to MSU and backs up to a mobile home park.
