The location is perfect -- far enough away from town to be quiet and serene but close enough for a quick trip for food or supplies.
The accommodations cannot be beat. The sleeping capacity is tremendous with several different bedroom sizes and beds. Bathroom availability is more than adequate as well. If needed, separation for men and women can be easily accomplished. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the cooking pans, utensils, and dishes you could need.
We used the main lodge for staff meetings and gatherings. It was perfect for good conversation and thinking strategically.
The outdoor environment is the key selling point. The view of the San Saba River is unmatched. The property is large for exploring. Our group chose to engage in an optional activity of axe throwing, which was fun and provided a good atmosphere for team building. During the season, you can tell that the fire pit area would be a really neat addition to any stay.
We will definitely stay here again!
