「Disappointing check-in experience
Unfortunately, my experience with this property was very disappointing, particularly the check-in process.
Before arrival, I was asked by the property owner to make an additional payment directly to a bank account. I was uncomfortable with this method of payment as it was outside the normal booking process and did not provide the same level of protection or reassurance as paying through the booking platform.

「Property was ok to sleep in few down points regarding bathroom cleaning and no toaster in kitchen Property may look into getting few more bits into kitchen for cooking facilities no frying pans there could do with few clothes hooks for coats too」

「We were in skegness a little earlier, but it was a bit rainy day .
Aramide let as ceck in bit earlier then schedule, as the flat was ready and she didn't want us to hang around in the rain.
Thank you Aramide for that.
Olso the flat was clean and confortable, I can't fault any part of the experience.

「Expedia confirmed my booking and took payment. Around two hours later, the host cancelled because of “an error with the calendar” — for a stay that was due the very next day.
That alone was bad enough, but the refund process made it worse. It took two days and three phone calls to Expedia to chase a proper refund, after the first refund shown was only partial.
So I was left with no accommodation, wasted time, unnecessary stress, and then had to fight to get back the money I should never have...
