Everything was as described/pictured except the lock code provided for check in was incorrect but maid was just leaving when we arrived to check in at 4p and my hubby chased her down road to get the right code. Haha All well and owner apologized. Property has been updated, pics do not reveal the LR is now a BR and the right side of deck is now enclosed as the new LR. I like the deck smaller and cozier, new furniture too. We spent alot of time on deck. Did not use the enclosed downstairs at all except for fridge for the addl cold drinks. We didnt have to lug up stairs. :-)Firepit space was absolutely awesome! We used it alot as it was chilly on our visit. Would be great if there was a shovel and receptacle to dispose of ash to keep pit cleared. Suggestion?Also, as an FYI the 2nd hall bath shower handle is really tough to turn.kitchen had everything except a wine opener, we bought one at dollar store as owner suggested and left it for next guests, not a big deal to us.We boated one day due to weather did hike 2x through the woods and saw LOTS AND LOTS of deer! Played corn hole too! Doggie loved the yard space.Really great place, will rent again! Thank you!

The location is incredible.The suwannee river here is paradise. Waking up & seeing deer grazing in the yard starts the day right.Listening to owls hooting doesn't get better.The house is fully stocked with all needs. Having the downstairs screened is a plus along with the extra bathroom. We spent alot of time on the upstairs deck watching sturgeon jumping. Will be back!!!!!! Thank you.

Perfect house for a stay on the river. Conveniently located to nearby public boat ramp the doc was perfect for our boat. We had plenty of space and beds. Air conditioning worked great and the porch was perfect for coffee and evening hangouts.

I was very lucky. The other part of my family could not show up because of my granddaughter’s national volleyball championship, but if they had been there, would’ve not been enough room for all of us the pictures where it shows how many bedrooms and what’s in them wasn’t quite as accurate And then it shows another room which we took is being downstairs because it shows your refrigerator in a door that there’s two king-size beds in that room wow that wasn’t true. The space in the little living room had a huge coffee table in the middle. It was really heavy and you would have to shove that towards the table for eating at to be able to pull open the couch and I don’t know if there wasn’t would’ve been enough room to even do that so my son had to sleep just on the couch itself. The picture window is gorgeous to look out on the river, but when the sun is coming down, you can’t sit on the other couch it just blind you cause there is no shade to pull down for it not to come through. It was a beautiful place, but just not for our size family. It was just too cramped and didn’t have the extra beds that it said it did.

An amazing place you won't regret renting.

If I could give this place a higher rating, I would. This place comes with absolutely everything you need and more. Nicely decorated and very well stocked. It has everything that you could need from linens, cookware, utensils, grill, games, ample seating, cleaning needs, and a beautiful screened in downstairs patio with tons of seating. It also has a beautiful dock that is very easy to get to. Teresa the host is amazing. If you have any questions, she gets right back with you right away. My family and I plan on going back several times. We LOVE this place.

Amazing property in a beautiful setting! Highly recommend!

We spent two weeks at this delightful property and enjoyed every minute of it. The scenery is incredible--we sat outside on the deck or porch every day and watched the river flow by. Just beautiful! The house is charming and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and helpful. The area is quiet and peaceful, a great place to relax and unwind. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are planning to return next year to this wonderful property!

Great stay at Floats My Boat

My wife's parents live close by in McAlpin and we need a place for ourselves and our 2 grown girls and one boy-friend. We really loved the place. It was very nice and clean. We didn't get to use the canoe or the paddle boat, but we did make a fire two of the nights in the fire pit and had smores! The place is very peaceful and quiet. We did take my in-laws over to the place and they loved it as well. The host was awesome and we had no problems communicating with her. We would definitely stay there again.

Just a Great Stay Peaceful and Quite

We had the most relaxing time at Floats My Boat on the Suwannee River! From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the peaceful setting and stunning natural surroundings. The house itself is well kept, and very clean, and nicely equippedThe highlight of our stay was definitely the river. We spent a few hours kayaking and the views from the porch were calming. It is relaxing to sit by the water, listen to the sounds of nature, and watch the river flow by. The area is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and those looking to unwind in a serene environment.Not only was the house and grounds in very good shape considering the hurricane damage last fall to the area, the location is also perfect. It’s just far enough away to feel secluded and private, yet close enough to local attractions and shops if you need anything. The communication with the host Teresa was fantastic too—she was very welcoming and quick to respond to any questions we had.Looking forward to returning in the fall!

Family Vacation!

Plenty of space inside but love the screened in area on the bottom level! The full bathroom on bottom level was definitely a plus for after my son played in the river.

Love the old Florida vibes

Love the location! Amazing house to hangout at the river….next time we would probably stay during the winter to utilize the fire pit. The only negative thing for us were the huge ants in the house. There were big dead ants in random places and also alive, some crawling on the toilet. Other than that we loved it!

Waterfront Wonder

Great vibes. The stay was amazing. Close to town, yet very private and serene. Kitchen was well stocked. Canoe and paddleboat were great amenities. All the comforts of home in a perfect relaxing environment. Was just what we all needed.

Family Mini Vacay

We enjoyed Floats My Boat River Home! This vacay home is very cozy and extra clean. Very nicely decorated.Everything we needed was available and handy. There was a little Smores Box with all ingredients you need for smores sitting in counter although we had all ingredients needed. Nice firepit with comfortable chairs, firewood stacked near by. This home is very welcoming ! Beautiful scenery of the Swannee River with great boat dock! I definitely recommend Floats My Boat Vacation Rental!! Our family enjoyed it very much!

Highly Recommend

We had such a wonderful time at Float My Boat. The pictures don't do it justice. Such a beautiful spot. We traveled with our boat and docked at the private dock for the long weekend. Enjoyed exploring the Suwannee and Santa Fe. Had a blast hanging out on the many porches/hangout areas. House has everything you could need and more. Very peaceful, comfortable and quiet. Highly recommending this one.

Gramps enjoyed sitting on the deck looking at the river while the kids hit all the nearby springs . House was well equipped and comfortable . Easy to put in at boat ramp in town and kayak home ! Thanks for a great stay

Piece of HEAVEN on Suwannee River

This place exceeded our expectations! Everything from top to bottom, front to back , was clean , well equipped , efficient and just down right cozy and adorable. I was so mad I had leave and go home ! The floating dock for our boat and fishing was everything we needed ! It’s set in a perfect location just around the corner from the public boat ramp. The outside screened in porch with bathroom was so perfect for our low country boil and all the nights we grilled. The fire pit was perfect for roasting marshmallows , the upper deck was my piece of heaven while sipping my coffee in the mornings. Beds were super comfortable and the air mattresses that the home is equipped with were nice as well! There was plenty of yard for my daughter and her friend to throw the softball around and play! I can’t wait to come back, hopefully every year ! It was a wonderful experience that my whole family loved! Thank you so much!
