Braunschweig surprise
A great surprise of a hotel - we were able to check in early which was a real godsend as we had a very early flight that morning. The service was excellent and the breakfast superb. The room was basic and maybe a little tired but much more than adequate. The location was good opposite the main station and a tram ride from the centre and the stadium

Good choice
Comfortable and reasonably priced hotel across the street from the main train station in town. That was its big attraction for me. An easy 15 to 30 minute walk, depending on your agility, to the major museum and the center of town.
