「We had a great stay at the Palm (1 night). Location is excellent, right along the main street facing the water. Several restaurants and shops nearby (including restaurant and bar in the Palm). Nearby activities such as the walk around and up the little mountain, and strolling the promenade. Was about a 10 minute walk from the train station. Room was clean and spacious. 「The room was okay, it had a bad smell (I think it was the carpet) but we got used to it. There was only bath towels, no hand towels. The view was amazing. The restaurant downstairs was amazing. We did not spend a lot of time in the hotel, and more in the surrounding area, so that smell did not take the score down too low :)」

「The room could have been cleaner floor was dusty. Parking was a bit of a challenge. The bar and restaurant were full therefore no parking for guests. Staff were friendly. Check in was also a challenge as we had to find someone that could check us in. Breakfast was delicious. 」

「Comfortable room with all the basic necessities in place. Friendly owner and staff. Close to bus stop for buses that take you to city centre. While the DART station is slightly far away, it’s a nice 20-minute walk in the neighbourhood (and through a lovely little park). I was spoilt by the delicious breakfast every morning! 」

「Love the Sandymount. The staff is great friendly without being intrusive, happy to help and always offers a cup of tea or drink while you are waiting. The hotel is simple and comfortable. We love its location and it's close to Dublin if you pick up the train, an uber or taxi. Have stayed multiple times and never disappointed.」
