Perfect house for our family reunion. Four adults and four kids under 12. They loved all the games and the adults loved the views.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. It was beautiful, clean and well stocked with everything we could want or need and the owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. We’d definitely come back again!
From the moment we rented the cabin we knew that everything was going to be fine, the excellent hosts always answered our questions quickly, the beautiful house, with a beautiful view, very cozy, very well equipped, clean, a very pleasant place to end the year and share with the family. Our group was lovely, Thank you very much
Great property with nice view and lots to do inside when the weather is bad. Kids loved the loft and all of the arcade games. Would have loved to use the outside more with firepit by the lake, but it was very cold that week.
Everything about this property is perfect! All amenities are as advertised, and the house was completely spotless. The kids (ages 9 - 15) loved the bunk / game room and all the outdoor games. The views were incredible! Truly a tranquil retreat for when we wanted to relax, but never boring with all the different activities available. We all wished we could've stayed longer. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
We had a wonderful and relaxing trip to the treehouse lakehouse! The house was beautiful, and the location was beautiful and serene. I had several 18 year olds with me as it was their last spring break before college. It was so wonderful to see them unplug and be down by the lake at the firepit. They loved the bunkroom and I loved spending as much time as possible to the deck with my two dogs who were thrilled to be in the woods. The house is just as it is in the photos. The property manager was unbelievably responsive. Some of the outdoor string lights shorted out one night and they sent out a repair crew the next day! Remarkable because the house is a bit remote. I would 100% return to this house in the future. Fantastic vacation choice!
Our family spent our annual vacation at this awesome mountain home. The house had beautiful views of the mountains and the lake from the wrap around deck. We spent time on the lake each and every day kayaking, swimming and fishing. We also enjoyed the firepit, sand volleyball court, and outdoor games that were provided. The house was clean and very well equipped. Our 9-14 year olds loved their cousin camp. The bunkroom was amazing, so fun for all of them. The hot tub was a relaxing evening activity. This is our first rental ever that our very active group chose to stay home for 2 entire days rather than hiking to waterfalls, tubing or rock climbing. My only suggestion would be for shades or curtains on the bedroom windows in the lower level that could be pulled as needed for privacy. Thanks for a fabulous week.
We had a great stay at this awesome property — the view, the privacy, the wrap-around porch, the game room — made for an awesome family weekend with my college kids and their friends!
The house was spacious and offered spaces for everyone to do their own thing, but also tons of spaces for all of us to hang together! We especially loved the extended dining table which enabled us to gather together to eat and play cards/games!
The game room was another awesome feature, we just wish the pool table was regulation size. The two big TVs was perfect for watching college football!
While we didn’t feel comfortable having a fire because it was too windy, it was nice to have several options for fire pits!
Great house! Great location! (Only 3 hours from Charlotte area, only 1 hour from Clemson, so it was a good place for us all to meet up for Fall Break!) I would definitely recommend Treetop!
Really loved this rental. It offers so much for a mountain home that is off the beaten path. Kids DID NOT get bored at all and the parents had enough to do as well with the multi-level spaces.
For others wanting to rent, be aware the double queen room is in the 'basement' and there is no indoor entry/exit. It is a completely separate living area however it is amazing. It just wasnt great when a 5 month old baby especially with no refrigerator down there or when it was raining. I just think it is important for others to know this ahead of time.
Also one other item to mention is the 'trek' to the dock. Once you are down there, it is perfection. But I don't think we were all prepared for the distance.
Is it doable - absolutely and worth it but just important to bring to others attention.
The owners were wonderful and accommodating.
I truly hope this home was spared from Helene. We left 2 days before Helene hit.
Photos oversold this property. The road leading up to the property is unpaved/gravel uphill and dangerous without 4W drive. It is far from town/groceries/restaurants. The lake is a long treck from the home, we had young children and it took about 5 minutes carrying them down the steps. The downstairs “spa” add on had dangerous steep stairs (I have photos) and is not part of home- no staircase indoors down to the wellness area. The first day the power went out and we were unable to use the wellness area. The cold plunge pool full of dirt (photos). The hot tub full of dark hair when it says explicitly that it’s drained after every rental. The fireplace on porch and in master were inoperative. The owners sent a fantastic handyman, but he had to stand on the side of the mountain under the house to turn on the sub panel. This home was put together for photos to look ideal but it is dated and I would not call it “luxury”.

We just completed a wonderful stay at Treetop LakeHouse. The location is beautiful, set above the lake with beautiful views of the mountains (be prepared for the authentic mountain road leading up to the house---you will get used to it!). The house itself is lovely, very spacious and tastefully decorated. The kitchen recently was updated and is fully equipped, including extras you wouldn't expect (e..g an aerolatte, waffle iron, and insta-pot). Our hosts stocked the refrigerator with welcoming goodies (sparkling water, a selection of beers and other drinks) and there was an assortment of snacks in a basket as well. We really enjoyed all of the water toys (paddle boat, kayaks, inner tubes) and had a very relaxing time on the lake. There are also toys at the house for all ages (Packman, pool, air hockey and more, and children's toys from infants on up). The house is set up well for children, including several cribs and high chairs, and plugs in most of the floor outlets. So thoughtfully done! The area is wonderful for hiking, and Brevard is a cool town to explore. Asheville is definitely close enough for a good day trip. (We would definitely recommend the NC Arboretum there, as well as the galleries in the River district and Pack Square). Ishita and Hassan are super hosts, very thoughtful and responsive. Highly recommend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Treetop Lakehouse! The house had everything we could have dreamed of to keep 6 boys (ages 8-15) entertained- canoeing/kayaking, fishing, corn hole, ski ball, air hockey, ping pong, and more. They loved sleeping in the same bunk room at “Camp Treetop”! The kitchen was well-stocked and the grill was great, makinh cooking for a group easy. Day trips to Brevard and Sassafras mountain were quick and lots of fun! It was a perfect long weekend getaway!
Following our elopement, my husband and I invited a few friends and family to celebrate with us in this gorgeous lakeside home. We couldn’t have asked for more with the incredible (truly) treetop views of the blue ridge and lakeside fire pit. We enjoyed the deck just as much as the cozy interior- made a delicious smoked brisket on the grill and opted for a catered sit down dinner on our last night. All of us slept comfortably. We will definitely be booking again in the future!
We brought our two sons and two of their friends, ages 12 and 14, to enjoy the area for a long weekend. We were pleasantly surprised to find the house much bigger than it seemed with a well-stocked kitchen, incredible views, comfortable beds, and lake kayaks and a canoe that kept us at the house more than our exploring. Brevard is just 30 minutes away and Sapphire Valley 30 min west was perfect for snow tubing (stop at Panthertown Cafe for awesome fried chicken). Jessica was responsive and communication was seamless. Will definitely be back!!
We absolutely loved the Treetop house. Unbelievable views of the rolling hills coupled with the dipping tree line and peaceful lake below created the most relaxing spot for our long weekend. The house has a great floor plan for hanging together and enjoying time apart as well. The kids loved the upstairs bunk room and games! So many fun surprises - toys in the kids closet, kayaks, canoe, and pedal boat with life jackets, fire pits, beautiful home decor, a Christmas tree!, nature walks, s’mores, and wonderful hospitality from the host. We will never forget our New Year’s Eve at Treetop and hope to return again!
The house was perfect for 3-60 something couples. When we arrived we walked out on the deck to admire the view (the house is called Treetops for a reason) and were glad to see a Christmas tree lit up inside.
The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, including condiments and spices. Due to rainy weather we ate nearly every meal there.
The tv room was perfect for watching the game.

Loved this property! Perfect for a family with teens! Lots of games and entertainment for the whole family. Gorgeous views! Thanks for the extra touches. We had everything we needed!
Great house for our group of 7 adults. We loved the deck when the weather was good and the fireplace when it wasn't. The view of the lake and the mountains is amazing! Rooms were clean and spacious. Kitchen and bathrooms are well-equipped. Just wish we'd had better weather to enjoy the lake, canoe, and pedal boat.
Our family found this property secluded, private and so beautiful-Treetop Lakehouse views were specactular! Talk about peace and quiet, we slept like babies. Our daughter married at the Pretty Place Chapel, and we held a family dinner to celebrate the joy of the day.
Our family was in Rosman to celebrate our oldest son's wedding. We could not have selected a more perfect location for us all to stay during this milestone celebration. Everything was wonderful.
The property was beautiful, the owners were excellent! It was a picture perfect getaway with relaxing canoes and kayaks! We will rent this property again!
We had a great get together with three generations of family, plus the dog. Much of our time was spent outside on the large deck (the gated deck was great, safe for small children and the dog) or at the lake. The downstairs bedrooms were spacious and the upstairs camp room was great for kids. We enjoyed the dock, canoe, pedal boat, floating in the lake, walks in the woods, and the games and toys upstairs even made the rainy afternoon fun. I would highly recommend a stay at the Treetop Lake House. The house was comfortable for everyone and provided lots of privacy and lots of activities (both great in these days of COVID).
