We were very comfortable at The Stables, whilst visiting family nearby for the Christmas break.

We were very comfortable at The Stables, whilst visiting family nearby for the Christmas break. The Cottage was decorated for Christmas and we had a welcome hamper, which included delicious mince pies and a bottle of Prosecco - all very well received! The Cottage was very well equipped with the most comfortable beds we have had in a holiday let. The information provided was comprehensive. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

The Stables - A Beautiful Cottage in Dorset

Lovely spacious cottage in idyllic location. Views are amazing! Comfy beds, plenty parking. Ideally situated in beautiful Dorset to visit lots of beaches & places of interest. Would highly recommend to all. The family loved it - thank you.

It would benefit from a larger dog walking area as there is no easy walking directly from the cottage, but I believe that Will and Miranda have that in mind. Cosy cottage, some nice touches such as the welcome hamper and the collar tags for the dogs. Lovely location, lots of great beaches with 30 mins. My main issue was with the lack of drying facilities. Our stay was during a rather wet week, so clothes did get wet. There was no tumble dryer, and as the radiators are all economy heaters we couldn't use those either. Also, no dish washer or DVD player which have been included at cottages we gave previously stayed at. That said I would certainly recommend this place. The cottage was beautiful and our hosts a delight.

The cottage was beautiful and our hosts a delight. We were made very welcome with a basketful of goodies including wine. Even a treat for the dogs and dogs tags to wear whilst on holiday in case they got lost, a great idea. They were very obliging and did everything we requested. The drive from the main road was a little bit like driving off road but that added to the seclusion. The beds were a little soft and low for us, but the linen was lovely and clean. Kitchen was well equipped but could have done with better drying facilities (laundry) We fell in love with Charmouth and Chissel Beach. It was a great location to visit the whole area travelling into Devon, Somerset and and Dorset. Would we go back, yes we would. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
