Great stay!

Mooie locatie voor bezoek in de omgeving
We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in Brienz in dit huis. Het huis is netjes, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. De verhuurders zijn heel vriendelijke en behulpzaam. Parkeerplaats direct naast het huis. Dit plekje is een prima locatie om de omgeving te bezoeken met de boot, trein of auto. Wij hadden zelfs onze fietsen meegenomen en daar hadden we geen spijt van. Het dorp ligt langgerekt langs de oevers van het mooie meer. Naar het strand of de winkels deden we meestal op de fiets. Bezoeken aan meer toeristische plekken zoals Wengen, Grindelwald en Lauterbrunnen zijn van hieruit prima aan te rijden. Het treintje bij de Rothhorn is een aanrader. Wij zijn er tot rust gekomen en hebben genoten van het mooie Zwitserland.

Updated and Friendly Accommodations
We are so grateful that we stayed at Ursula's place! The nice view of creations was great for us to recover from our hectic trip. Oh the clean white bathtub! And the adjustable beds were just what we needed. There were also stainless steel pots and basic spices and seasonings made the stay pleasant, especially the first night after long drive. When it rained, we enjoyed the spacious living area and admired all the professional construction. It's always more pleasant to find the place actually better than the pictures. For those travelers who want to know more about the location, it is situated right at the main road, but the double- pane windows were pretty effective. The rental is on the second floor above the owner's place, but renters get their private entry without going through owner's . Even though we had to rely on Google translate, Ursula's friendliness made communication easy, and her English is way better than our German. Overall, I am just thankful that my husband picked this place!

Better Than Expected
This apartment was so much better than excepted. So beautiful, clean, great location away from the main city, good bakery just up the road. Kitchen was well stocked, shower and bathroom were big. The owners were so very kind and helpful, we didn’t have coins for the laundry on arrival so she borrowed me some Euros, above and beyond! If you prefer a little more country and open spaces than city, stay here!! Best place we stayed over a month long Europe vacation from Norway to France.

Excellent stay with a great host
Extremely clean, very spacious apartment with very accommodating hosts who checked us in at 1AM. The kitchen is very well stocked, with even fondue paraphernalia! Great location, just a 2 minute drive to Brienz railway station. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day vacation :)

Wir haben uns gleich „zu Hause“ gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, gut für den Alltag ausgestattet und sie bot viel Platz für unsere vierköpfige Familie. Clean and spacious
The communication with Frau Egger was simple and clear and she was very quick to respond. The pictures show how spacious the common areas were: large well-equipped kitchen area, lovely big dining room table to spread out and a big comfortable corner sofa to watch the massive TV with so many channels in several languages. Lots of power points so simultaneously charging up multiple phones, tablets and laptops etc not a problem. Good internet connection. Nice strong shower and above all the apartment was spotless. The pictures posted give a good idea of the apartment. However, there was a bit of road noise at night (appreciate past reviewers from mentioning this so I brought ear plugs). However, I was only slightly aware of the traffic in the first evening then completely forgot about it and never needed the earplugs. To walk, it is a little far from the centre of town but most I assume arrive with a car. If you have bikes then it's a very easy, flat ride to town. (You can avoid the main road by biking through the field opposite where a path then leads alongside the lake). It was a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Would stay again if there was another opportunity to do so!

Wir hatten 5 tolle Tage in dieser Ferienwohnung. Die Vermieter sind äußerst freundlich und angenehm zurückhaltend. Die Wohnung ist groß, sauber und perfekt ausgestattet. Es fühlte sich immer gut an, nachmittags "heimzukehren". Die Lage nahe am See, nahe an Meiringen/Hasliberg, nahe an Interlaken/Jungfrauregion war für uns ideal. Wir würden zu gerne wiederkommen! P.S.: Die Ferienwohnung ist viel schöner, als es die Bilder hergeben!

Schöne Ferienwohnung in der Nähe Rothorn und Aarenschlucht. Die Wohnung ist groß genug für 6 köpfige Familie und bietet vieles in der Küche, Bad und Wohnzimmer. Das Badzimmer war sehr sauber. Die Vermieter/-in sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben unser Urlaub dort sehr genossen.

Leider liegt die Wohnung nicht so ganz zentral zum Einkaufen oder zum See, aber alles noch im Rahmen. Auto ist aber schon sinnvoll, auch für Ausflüge. Würden jederzeit wieder die Unterkunft buchen- haben nur die Hälfte davon gemacht, was alles möglich ist..

Wonderful time in a wonderful place!
Our group of five had a lovely time in this property. It was more than advertised and it's location is wonderful for easy hiking trail access. We were met and greeted so warmly by the hosts and truly enjoyed our time there. I will be personally recommending the property to anyone I know heading to Switzerland!
