A fabulous week in Boondi

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a week staying in Boondi and could have stayed a month. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable for our family. Added bonus was we were able to bring our dog and it was only a few minutes walk to two dog beaches. A short stroll to cylinder and the shop, we couldn’t have asked for a better location. I would recommend Boondi to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway at Straddie and we will be back!

Beautiful home in a great location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was very tastefully decorated with all mod cons required for a stay on North Stradbroke Island. We took our dog with us and the front garden was secure. The only issues that I would raise were a very stiff front sliding door and it would have been nice to have more floor towels for the bathroom as the floor became very wet when showering. Also a guide/information booklet about the island would have been useful. What to do? Where to eat? etc. the island

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Boondi is a gem - a cottage excellently located within easy walking distance of Cylinder Beach and the shops. It has been fully refurbished to an excellent standard, with quality appliances and furniture. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. The fully enclosed patio dining and relaxing area is fitted with high quality shutters which can be opened to catch the breeze. The bbq is near new, very clean and a treat to use. We really enjoyed our 4-day break at Boondi and will definitely stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Boondi. The location can’t be beat. Walkable to everything you need. We loved sitting out on the patio and spent most of our time there if we weren’t at the beach. The table did need a good clean and patio a sweep on arrival (unfortunately found the blower afterwards). The updated kitchen was clean and well equipped. The decor is light and beachy, photos are accurate. Beds are very comfortable and the curtains/shades blackout the room well. Great value and would stay again.

Great accommodation close to everything you need

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Boondi. The kitchen and living areas have been beautifully renovated and are very welcoming. We brought a lot of extra kitchen supplies, but found we didn’t need them because the kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need. The outside entertaining area is lovely and usable. While not air conditioned, the fans kept us cool and comfortable. If you're bringing larger/taller humans, they may find the shower stall a little confining, however, this wasn’t enough to tarnish our experience. The doors can be a little tricky to secure, but we didn’t find this particularly problematic either. Our dogs loved the close proximity to Home Beach for a lot of fun adventures, and were otherwise content in the front secured yard. Easy parking in the back yard. We’d love to come back soon.

Pleasant Stay at Boondi

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very well located for shops, hotel, beaches,etc. Internals of house were clean/tidy and had pretty much everything needed for kitchen use, laundry etc. Outside patio/table/chairs hadn't been cleaned/swept, cleaned ourselves as we used this space most. The garden areas and paving need some attention, not maintained and possible safety hazard with broken paving. Overall pleasant stay

Close to everything including beaches, groceries and attractions at Point Lookout that are all in easy walking distance. Yet, it is tucked away in a quiet street. It appears that Boondi has had a relatively recent renovation, which has been done properly and with all the mod cons.I will be planning to visit North Straddie again and will definitely be looking at this property.
